Black or No Black

I have a 2005, hummer with weath color interior. my side post and inside handles are all black. i was thinking of going to black interior for the seats.

my outside color is black, i would sure like some of your guys opinions please post.

Shoot. Too expensive? Interiors are cheap (relatively). Take it to a good reupholstery shop and let them do their magic. You can do some custom stuff that will make it more than just black.

I say go for it.

Also, remember, a little black shoe polish will keep those seat looking perfect long after most other colors show their wear!!

Just tint those windows to keep the heat down!!

Black looks nice, though, but shows dirt & dust. Wheat is easier to maintain. I'd like a nice medium grey.

I have the wheat and illegal window tint and I still have a hard time keeping cool in the summer.

The a/c sucks when you aren't driving and it gets hot fast.

I do question wether black seats would be hotter because I don't think it is sunlight on the seats that is making my truck hot.

Some of you that have had both wheat and black, is there any difference in the heat due to the seat color?

I had wheat then changed to Black. I didn't notice any difference. HOT is HOT, either way!!!:D

I paid roughly $4000 CDN to change out my wheat interior to black. That included the black headliner. You can see the change here:

Thank You All ! your respones were great i order my leather today 5, big ones total- for 2007' complete black out from Hummer dealer. i hope i am doing the right thing i just don't really like that wheat color and the 07' stuff is soft and comfortable i will post before and after when done for all to see.
