We recently discussed the 08's and it was rumored that an 08 would appear in Chicago. Has anyone heard about it being there? Seen it? Was it there? I went to the official site but it only referenced an 07.

Just curious...

no, there was nothing there, just your H2 and H3. Just got back from the show. talked to one of the guys there and asked him some questions? Is there a new body change for 2010? No. Is there an h4 comming? No was just a rummor. Are there any alphas comming? No. Is there a wilderness h3 comming? No. Basicly the guy was about as smart as a box of rocks. so I gave up cause this was going nowhere.

I was in Atlanta and th dealer there said the pictures on the internet of the interior are from the H2 alpha which only comes as a fully loaded H2 model.

My infor is getting more and more unreliable becasue i got out of the biz in 05 but here is how it was laid out to me.
They built a H2 pick-up witha a full size bed but nothing happened with it due to changes at GM and gas prices last year so who knows? The re-tool of the H2 is overdue but will include majo upgrades in 2010 but body, interior stuff comming real soon maybe as eairly as 08-09. the H3 pick-up/SUT will hit as a 08 or 09 (pics on the web now) The H4 has been a on agoin off agin project for many years but with what is going on with Crysler who knows. the H4 concept will never see the light of day. lokk for the H4 in 09 or 2010. The H1 will return in 08 or 09 but may or may not be sold by GM. AM General has figured out how to get the Optimiser engine to pass new smog laws and will build the classic version minus the Duramax and huge GM up-grades at a more affordable price (for an H1) Look for old established dealers like Lynch etc. to sell it. The H3 will get a V-8 in 08.

Thanks 4 the info fellas...I'm still loving my 03 (57k miles) but since it's paid off, I was thinking @ an 08.

I am waiting for some changes before I buy another...

Thanks again!

just went to the show last night and the only thing I was impressed with was the line for people lining up to still sit in the H2. I jumped in the back seat of one and witnessed a guy talking about the features, and lord and behold... he said that the button for the traction control 2 was for the inflation of all 4 tires on the run?? Almost had me fooled 'cause he was so confident. :clapping:

Did you guys happen to see those big azz international trucks? Holy BIG! MRT??

I though the new ARMY vehicle was pretty cool.

Even if you could tell me the International MXT isn't a Hummer rip-off with a straight face, I still wouldn't believe you! :D

Where was this discussed? It's supposed to show up at the NYC show in April.

The Pittsburgh show was postponed when part of the floor in the convention center collapsed! Have to wait till april to see the new ones here.

I dont really consider it a rip off. More of a kick ass tow rig for my truck, not as great as the CXT though.

The low end of the trucks started at 89,000. Then, you have the middle version at over 100k.. and the baddest one at approx. 150K. pending on options with every one.

All the truck are all diesel. I woudn't mind having one. Just to say I have one.

It looks like a big golf cart, why is that?

I mean without anything to judge the size, it has those wierd proportions of golf carts.

Soo good to hear that they may be re-producing the h1 again. But since it would be under AM General and not General Motors, would it go back to just becoming the HUMMER and not the HUMMER H1, and would it go back to the orignal two engine choices?

Huh? Where did you get this info from (the re-introduction of the H1)??

**EDIT** Forget it, just noticed the post by usetosell...

Walked over to The Chicago Auto show on Saturday IMHO it really sucked. Nothing really new or cutting edge, only a handful of concept cars, no Ferrari, no Aston Martin and the Models looked old and ridden hard and put away not wet, just put away.
Sat in the new 4 door wrangler . The thing is Fugly, interior is cheap and very cramped seating.

Its semi-cool, I guess... But for the money, why not get an Alpha off of ebay? An H1 kicks that thing in the face! :OWNED:
