I was at the local Hummer dealer recently (one of the happiest places I know) and we were talking to the salesman helping us and he referred to the 3rd row seat in the SUV as a "Mother-in-law" seat.

My dad thought that was pretty funny (I'm sure I'll understand someday...:giggling: ). I give the guy mad props though- He came up with that name all on his own. That's pretty funny.

I, personally, think the term '3rd row seat' is too bland. Hummer should officially name it something bold. Maybe 'Solo Seat' or even the 'Mother-in-law seat'! Anything is better than being called the 3rd row seat...:yawn:

If I still had a mother-in-law (she went with the ex-wife), her seat would be on the roof rack; not inside the vehicle.:jump:

I don't actually own a HUMMER, I'm just a huge fan! (Not old enough for the funds yet!:o )
