View Full Version : PARAGON WEEKEND - JULY 16-18, 2004
BKLYNH2, KenP, Spike and Zing met up this past weekend for some wheeling and camping in the beautiful West Poconos, Pennsylvania. Acknowledgements to Ken and Susan for driving all the way up from Virginia to meet us; BKLYNH2 now known as "Lingenfelter Field Tech" for his mechanical inginuity as well as making tasty kick-ass shish-k-bobs; and Spike and Karen for cracking us up all weekend and great pics. Oh, and thanks to Dan for not showing up! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif (he actually had a good reason and will be joining us next round). It had rained a lot during the prior week and a bit on the weekend, which made lots of soupy mud and awsome conditions. It was great getting to know everybody and I look forward to the next trip with you guys.
Here are also a couple short video clips:

Hey, looked like great fun! I sure miss all that rain being here in sometimes too-sunny SoCal (used to live in NJ)...
Good luck washing all the mud off -- or do what I did -- GIVE UP! (still had mud in the engine compartment from 5 months ago! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif)
Nice job with the gallery Zing! There are some cool pics in there. I'm not missing the next trip for ANYTHING! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
Great Pictures, where did you camp and how close is it to Paragon. I would definetley be interested in taking the next trip.

Doug, we camped at Red Ridge Lake in Zion Grove which is 15 minutes from Paragon. We were all impressed. Big sites for groups, too. Lots of off-roaders camp out there.

What did I copy?
Heck if I know. But you had the only pewter one. Must be you. Bad Peter....
