OH I wanted to mention, Nav is not standard on the 08 H2, but it is on the escalade. Also since I have lots of chrome and stuff I didnt want to order the lux package becuase almost everything on there has to do with chrome that I already have, well You CANT order NAV unless you order the lux package, so its 4500$ for the lux package with nav, $1800 was nav and the other $2800 was useless stuff that I already have like step bars, brush guard, and lots of chrome.

Heated leather seats in the front and back are standard. I did order the rear backup camera thats in the mirror, thats gonna be sweet.

Also HID Xenon lights are NOT EVEN AN OPTION! Yet standard on the Escalade. Why do Hummer owners get the shaft? :(

Thats nice...the back-up camera in the rear view mirror? Wonder if you can order these for non 2008 models? Heck even an after-market one would do. Congrats on the purchase....Jamie:clapping:

IMHO, i would have saved the money and purchased the Pioneer Avic-Z2. It does NAV,DVD, CD, IPOD. bluetooth and virtually everything else. They just released the bypass on the Z2's for DVD in motion.

I got a base model, because all the lux model had was chrome this and that and step bars and the option for NAV. Well I'm taking my chrome off the 03 h2, the step bars, the rims, the roof rack, the TVs etc.

You cannot get navigation unless you order the lux package, pretty gay. HID lights were not an option on any package!

Also there was only two choices of interior colors on the black h2 I ordered, black interior or the tan/orange/brown interior thats been on all the 08 h2 preview pics. I got that color as I really like that for a black truck.

So I got base model, rear backup camera TV in mirror, full 3rd row seat (this was not standard and was like $800 or something), moonroof, heated seats in the front and rear with full leather are standard.

This truck was $60,000, with GMID that brought it down to $55,500. The lux package was $2700 more plus $1800 if you wanted nav or $4500 for both or around $65,000.

The 08 h2s are going to save at least 10% in gas, which on 15k miles a year and $3 per gallon is a savings of around $400 a year, or $600 a year (rough numbers) if it gets 15% better gas, gas is going up in price every year, plus more horsepower :)

I've got a Pioneer Z1 nav system with the Pioneer rear view camera. It syncs with the Z1 so when you put it in reverse it fills the whole screen with the the rear view...in color. Works awesome. You can also run it split screen, for instance if you are towing something. Half the screen is your navigation, the other half is the rear view. Don't know if the mirror mounted version does that.

Yep of course. I think it wont be hard to get a few grand more than what they were offering.
