Just examined a Greystone Metallic at Sewell Hummer in Plano for about 15 minutes tonight.

Already has a "Sold" sign on it.

saw that same one and I will say it is much nicer than the pics we've been seeing on here for the last several months! I have an 06, so I can hold out until the diesel comes out.

Unfortunately, it was after they closed (dark), so no pics.

I think I may need to get a life though if I'm staking out Hummer dealerships!

Thanks for the link. Man, I cannot believe all the parts the 08 Hummer shares with my 07 Tahoe. The interior does look more refined than the previous years, but I wonder about the seats and the side lumbar support. It looks to be flatter than the previous year's seats?

What's with the gray bumpers? :twak: I bet it looks better on white, silver.

I really like the new wheels too. ...now just to find a set and get them PC'd.;)

i dont like the new dash. if i wanted a dash that looks like a tahoe or suburan i would get one of those. i really like the titties air vents that the h 2 has now. it makes it look LIKE NOTHING ELSE now it looks like EVERYTHING ELSE IT JUST LOOKS TO MUCH LIKE A SUB OR TAHOE NOW.I just thought the air vents before were really cool looking. what about anyone else ? what do you like better on the dash ?

Until I saw these photos, I was a staunch supporter of the "dash titties".
Now, I may have to change my mind.
I also like that the camera shows up in the stereo and not the little "pop out' on the rearview mirror like my 06.

I am in the works of changing the rearview display to both the rear view mirror and the factory Nav....about three weeks away.

I could do without the grey. I like the rich interior color. I like the look of the new dash, but come on, who doesn't love tities?:iagree:

IDK the only thing I didnt like on the H2 are the air vents b/c they are from the pontiac aztec. I do think that car looks way too much like my fathers Tahoe now. And the rear a/c vents on top were a nice addition though. Besides the engine not much to really push someone to not go for a great deal on an 06 or 07.

And by the way TImco where are you getting the rear view mirror and nav cam done on your car and how much is it going to run you ?

KodiakZ does my audio/ AV work. IMHO, he's the best in this area!!! I'm not sure on the components yet. I plan to do this in the next week or two. I'll send you a PM once I get it all done.

08's are OK, but I bought a late 07 instead. 6.2 liter for an extra 10 grand in the 08 vs a supercharged 6.0, OK, 6.0 it is.
Just not enough there yet. Now throw in the duramax, and that will be THE ride!

Just stopped by the local dealer to see if they had any of the '08 H2's in stock. Salesman said no, and that there aren't any '08 models at any of the lots in the entire country. :giggling:

Told me to check back around end of September...

Had to really bite my tongue, as I wanted to tell him to go check e-Bay...

Why do salespeople think we are uninformed idiots??? :confused:

Its got a 6 speed auto so I think the overall crawl ratio improved. I may be wrong though.

HUMMER in PALM BEACH has 2 08's one is sold, i was in the other one today, man was it nice in there, looks like the cadillac interior .
on a side not i did the little obstacle course today
, it was fun!
