Good for you! Chrome doesn't get you anywhere! A stock suspension or with the Cognito stuff is probably wisest for longevity and off camber situations (off roading).
I traded my lux chrome package junk for black stuff right at my dealership straight up for free and they did the labor. Plenty of people willing to buy the shiney stuff.
