H2 Rocks, Of course a little chrome will stay. ...just a little.:giggling:
Tower, I've heard tha before. I'm not sure when, it's been a while.
Obzidian, I went with teh 35's due to the width. The 37" Toyo MT's only come in a 13.50 width. I have the air susp. on this H2 and didn;t want to be reaplcing air ride sensor or the bags. In comparing the37 12.50 17 BGF MT's I had on there, there was very little differnece in overall height. I also just started towing a new toy around and wanted to go back to the 35's as well.
Hucky, yep, stock susp with Rancho 9000's.
Thanks for the comments.

Those Toyos are great tires, look good with the Rock Stars. Black is a good color for Hummers and a little chrome looks good on it.

Looks great. Good to see that not everyone is down on the black rockstars. Throw a coat of wax on them before too long and everyting washes off without any effort. I used Ice on mine and it didn't change the semi-flat look.
Did you paint the axel ends? What type of lug nuts did you use, mine are longer and stick out without the caps.

Thanks, they are spline nuts. I'm not sure on the brand. Wheel Pros seem to use the same ones for most applications. These are the same ones that I have gotten from 4WP in the past also.
I used high temp gloss engine enamel on the hubs.

Hey bro, need a favor....
Can you tell me if these will fit on the rear tire carrier?
yep, they sure do.
But I also removed that rear l. plate holder, cut off that metal flange that sticks out for the l. plate holder. I'm sure it would fit without cutting that hub off, but it will look ugly. I'm not sure the center cap would hide that or not.
As for the center caps, I already packed those away in the HUMMER shed. ;)

:perfect10s: I guess you abandoned the idea of some chrome?
Tim, my rear carrier still has the hub and I plan on using the OEM license plate holder. I know it's ugly, but I am not too concerned about it as long as it's "functional". So you think I'll be okay on the OEM carrier?
I am going for the 20x10s with 37/13.5" tires. I prefer an 18x10, but I have not seen the Rockstars in a 18x10 anywhere. I have 4.56:1 gears in the box in the garage that I plan to do at same time, as I tow as well. Want to do the front locker too, but have to pace myself as wife gets hot.
Currently working on adding Ron Davis Radiator addition, but UPS damaged it and I am fighting with them on it.
Really like how yours turned out though

I wish I still had the plate holder so I could see if it would fit for ya. The factory rims sit more flat where the Rockstar's hub sits in further and pitches out towards the lip of the rim. I'm not sure how the plate holder will sit. Worst case, you cut that hub off and move the l plate to the bumper. It's fairly easy and cost is around $6.00.

Nope, the rear tire carrier will not support the Rockstar wheel with the flange still on, you must cut it off if you plan to use the OEM wheel plate holder.

Still waiting on a decent set. Seems like all the ones they keep sending are either out of round,, lots of scratches, or center caps either missing, or cracked. So far, I have went through 2 complete sets with all but 3 being ok. Seems I have the worst luck. Also have a SMA heavy duty brush guard lying in the garage that I just had sand blasted and re powder coated, but I have no clue as to how to install and not to keen on cutting the plastics. So, as soon as I get all of this sh!t squared away, then I'll snap some. I dislike the H3 as much as anyone, but in reality, the H3 is no less of a "Hummer" than the H2...they both come from the GM parts bins. Yes, you can argue to capabilities if each 'til the cows come home, but in the context of the name and what it means, which is what you zeroed in on, the only "real" Hummer is the H1.

Jamie your stupidity seems to know no bounds. You obviously have made yet another mistake involving your ability to put two plus two together. Just when I get to thinking you can't get any more stupid, you raise the bar again. I felt sorry for you last time, and a bit like I was in a fight with a mental quadriplegic, which is not my style, so I took it easy on ya. Now you're following me around spewing your third grade bullsh!t on several threads.
Since you have been given the same information again and again, but can't seem to remember it, you must be over working the one brain cell you have. Tim has met me, ask him if I'm fat. You really are a world class dumbass, and the fact that you can't see it is hilarious. Not to mention you are a kiss -ass, the biggest one on the forum. You are also a spineless pussy that needed a couple weeks to muster up the courage to come whining at me again.
You sure run your suck a lot for someone whose opinions are not worth sh!t. You are supposedly going for a Masters degree and you can't figure out how to mount a brushguard? I feel sorry for the dealer of those RockStars, I'll bet he wishes he never met you. Your money can't possibly offset the pain in the ass you must be.
I'm not going to follow you around the entire forum answering these half-witted, feeble attacks on every thread I have posted on. Instead of ruining everyone else's threads, pick one. By the way, sorry Tim.
Jamie, is this the thread you can't let go? It has the same information that has been posted for you over and over. Rather than drag this through other peoples threads why not just start this one back up, and pick up your stupidity where you left off?

Hello timco 3 rd time ! do you still have your chevy avalanchch
Sorry about that. Yes, I did drop the Avalanche. The Fabtech kit messed the truck up BAD. In a last chance to save the truck, we installed the Rancho kit. Not as extreme and handled well with 33's. THe control arms kept coming loose due to the cutting the fabtech required. I think the new cross-members were allowing flex. Anyhow, the truck was still not as I intended it, so I came back with this truck. ...much happier with this one!!!!!;)
FWIW, If I were to lift another one (or Tahoe) the rancho lift with a 33" tire would be the way to go.

Nice truck Tim! I have been recently looking at a new chevy 1500. I like the truck but after hearing what you said about the lift messing the truck up I think my search is over. 33's are not big enough for me. I love the look that the 38X15.50's on the H2 and I don't think I could duplicate that on the truck. Anyway I like the new rig!:perfect10s:

Yep...and I'm sure the seller is inconveniently located in some foreign country but can arrange shipping to you for free, etc. Just send him a Western Union money order that's $100K more than the asking price and he'll refund the difference, yada, yada, yada.
