I'm now seriously thinking about trading my '06 H3 in for a new '07 H2. Can anyone tell me about any real incentives out there now still be offered? I need to keep the price down as much as possible (don't we all ..lol). I love the H3 but the H2 has always had my eye. Could I a GMID from someone when needed? What % does a GMID usually subtract from the price? Any S. CA. people here .. any great dealer suggestions for getting a good price? Thanks! I know, I sound like a newbie ... but I need the facts. :giggling:

Are you talking about a fleet #? If not, what is a GM ID?

GMID will get you close to invoice.

Than you have your incnetives to throw on there.

http://www.edmunds.com/ This is where you'll find incentives.

2007's $5500 cash back + $1000 marketing support
or
0% for 60 months/ 2.9% for 72

You can also add in your GM Credit card points as well.

So on an 07 you can save around 11K off stick price on a loaded one.

2008

There is $2000 marketing support + your GMID and GM Credit Card Points.

Make sure you drive both the 07 and 08 though. It's about a 4K difference between the two, but that 08 has a better engine and transmission.

Good luck on the GMID. They are geting harder to come by. Most dealers will get you close to invoice if you tell them you'll wait until you get a GMID. If you get to $500 from invoice on the starting price, than take all the discounts I mentioned, you're doing great!!!!

Go to www.carsdirect.com I plugged in an 07 Hummer H2, Lux loaded with a SoCal zip code.
MSRP $59K
Buy $49k
This is without even haggling with a dealer. You should be able to do even better if you show them this info and grind em down in person..

why is it that the people who can buy an H2 roughly 20,000 under sticker always have less than 10 posts??? just curious....by the way a loaded H2 lux is 68ish....

Hey, you have to start somewhere.... This is an excellent site for info on the H2. I am in the market for one also, and haven't decided on a 07 or 08. I purchased a truck trough carsdirect a few years ago so I know they are legit.
I have been pricing a 07 SUT Lux with air suspension and Nav and MSRP on the site is 62K, buy price is 52K.

You should have been here in the beginnings of Elcova. The H2 was so hot, abunch paid way above sticker. And everyone had less than 50 posts. At the time the Canadian $ was so low, I paid $115 CAN for mine. And half the Vancouver Canucks team. :D
