I have noticed that my H2 does not have a change holder in the center console. Is this normal or is mine missing? My Durango had it and I never really realized how much I miss that thing.

Doesn't come with one. I believe the tahoe/suburban one will fit. There's a few threads on this. It was discussed awhile back...Part numbers, etc.

Can't find any threads about an H2 spare change dispenser or pocket.

Can anyone provide a link?

Hey, it's cheaper than the ashtray!

I got me one of those $5 gas station model (3 rows spring loaded), dremel out 2 vertical cuts at the back -- narrower towards the top so it jammed tight with the fins inside the center console without glue or velcro. Good enough to keep all the loose change from rattling everywhere the last 3 years.

Go back and snag one outta the Escalade. Where it slides onto the two tabs in the center console, look into the holder...cut out the plastic pointy things looking back at you. Put it onto the mount tabs in the console.

I think the idea is if you own a Hummer you dispense with change and just throw paper money at everything--get some class.

Save yourself $50 and use the center console! Just think when its filled you can buy a 1/4 tank of gas.:notallthere:

I decided to up the price to $125, as the one I have is genuine GM that fits in the H2 console:beerchug:

The link above to alldiscountparts does not show a coin dispenser for any model year except one to fit a 2003 H2. The unit specifically does not show up on the 2004-2007 years

So will this change holder unit fit my 2006 H2?

How is it attached inside the console box?

How is it attached inside the console box? Inclined plane. It snugs onto a couple of fins.
