How did you paint the mirrors? Did you mask off or does the chrome insert come off? What kind of paint? I'm slowly converting to black chrome and your mirrors look awesome.

The Painter that works at the Porsche shop I go to did them for me,
He masked them off--Probably PPG Paint--Auto Paint

Thanks to All for the compliments, been fun, The rims and tires are really bugging me, When the new year comes, Ill do something then.

Really like the satin on the towers. I was a bit skeptical at first, but it does look better. Hopefully after the new year I'll take the towers to be sprayed. Looks very nice Hucky:beerchug:

White with black looks good Huck! The towers look better than I thought they would. Glad you went to satin and with the way the factory black changes to a flat black look later It may look even better with flat black.

What I'm waiting on someone to do or ask us to do is do all white trim on white rig. I think white and black are the 2 colors that you can do that with and look awsome. I really think the white trim on white would be the best.
I think a guy could do that to their rig and win every SUV show locally or region that you went to.

I have a pair of black bars that I would trade you straight up if you want them. We each pay our own shipping. PM me if you want to. Well anyone that would like black I would do the same. I need to check them and make sure no knuckle head has not dropped something and put some dent in one.
Not going to pull them down out of storage unless anyone is really interested.

Looks good Hucky, glad that you have almost got everything the way you want it. We still have not had time to get the door buckets installed yet. Hope to get that done closer to the X-mas holiday. I plan on taking some time off during the holidays and will have time to deal with them then. Take care.

Hey Hucky, nice lookin rig! I had the Rancho kit on my last H2, and it was great!

However, after looking at yours, the front end may be cranked too high. It's very easy for an installer to do this. If you do have the front end too high, you risk ripping out your CV's. If you stomp on the gas, and you get a vibration noise in the front (it will be loud), have them bring the front end down some and re-align. Mine looked to sit just as yours is now, and than they brought it down some.. the issue went away. ...just looking out. The last thing you want do is to go off road and have that happen.... you can always PM me if you have specific Q's too.
