Hey all,
I'm thinking of replacing my tail lights with these or something similar
(http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190184566141&ssPageName=ADME:B:WNA:MOTORS:1123)
but, I'd like to hear from everyone that has changed out there tail lights to either bulb or L.E.D........which is better and why??
Also, the link above is ebay....has anyone see this type any where else??
Thanks
Also....if you have some pics for ref. please post.

Those are different looking from most the ones you see.
I guess be a trend setter and get them if you like them.
We are thinking about doing some mods to ours and tail
lights will be on the list.~Richard :excited:

Prsonally, I like the LED's. Yes, they last forever, but really, how hard is it to change a bulb? If you like the red look, they have LED's like that. Personally I like the clear. Some call it the "ricer" look, but even so, I think it makes one do a double take when they see clear or white (when off) tail lights. (JMHO.) If you prefer the blacked -out look you can get these

clear (my personal favorite)

What about the backup light........will it not be as bright as well....
I might have to consider the clear....if you have some pics night and dark of the clear...send them over, please

They were having a hard time getting them to work properly with the bumper lights hooked up. But the manufacturer (Anzo-USA) is working on the problem. As soon as it's fixed, they're going to give me a set of the new ones. I'll let you know as soon as they are available. They finally got a newer H2 in China, so it shouldn't be too long.

Would love to get a set of led rear lights but I have a SUT and have not been able to find a set of SUT LED brake lights... anyone have a source

I don't knopw how the SUT lights differ. I guess my photo didn't post where I said "Don't be fooled by these! Thy are NOT LED's, just scrim lenses." so here it is.

Also, yes I think the reverse lights will not be as bright because of the smoked lens. The reverse lights use incandescent bulbs (like the OEM) but seem much brighter, presumably from a clearer lens. So I believe that the "smoked" ones will not illuminate as well as the clear. Photos of the clear on my truck (and others are here on both pages.
