Have you considered getting a chrome one and having it
powder coated?

I looked for a black fuel door for a while but gave up.

I just took my chrome locking fuel door off and I will powder coat it any color you like, just let me know and we will work it out. you will get it with a fresh beautiful coat!

I will take it to the powder coating guys April 2. They should have it done in a day, at most two. after that I will ship it however you want. I am in Springfield MO, 65802. After it is powder coated I will post some pics. the reason I have not powder coated it yet is to see the most common color wanted. Now that there are three or four guys looking for them I will get it in Black, That is unless you guys would like it in Hot pink or Neon yellow! JK.

dropped it today and powdercoating cost me 60 bucks. I can pick up tom. or friday. the reason why powder coating cost so much is because the removal of existing chrome. when I get it back I will be sure to post some pics of it and see if there are any takers.

Ok Boys here ya go. My camera sucks, unless your underwater. It makes the fuel door look a little grey when it really is a jet black. Any how. $100 shipped. The Lock and hinge still works great, However I only have one key here. I think the other is in STL. If it is that big a deal i can make arrangement to get it to you. No rubbing and very smooth operation. I am leaving the back peice on it because i got a new one with mine so it either goes with it or in the trash, I will leave it up to buyer.

im dropping them off friday to get a flat/semi black krinkle finish that would match the black plastic fender guards on the h2.
if someone wants to buy one raw i can let you have it for $60 shipped. then you can have it finish anyway you like.
they are disassembled but will come with the lock, 2 keys, and all screws.
these fit 2003-2006 and i believe if you have a 2007 you will need to change the plastic fuel bezel. i am told the cost is less than $20 new at the dealer.
