Great....thanks for the good news.... :raar:
Whatever they replace it with had better be kickass so that the Hummer name does not go into toilet.
Oh well, I'm off to Italy for the next 3 weeks and I'll see if I can snag a few Hummer owners over there and send Pix!
Cheers!

What is it with these tree huggers? These mop squeezers actually HATE a vehicle with so much anger that it just cracks me up. I think I will take my H2 out and burn some fossil fuel and look for some greenie to run over.

HUMMER has confirmed they discontinued the next generation H2 project, which means it wont be getting a diesel, and there wont be any significant body style or powertrain updates. They will continue to produce the H2 for at least a few more years with some minor changes and updates. There is no official timeline.

I dont doubt any of it. With the price of fuel the H2 just isnt selling to justify itself. Very few people will be buying large SUV's from here on out.

I don't doubt it, either.:crying: While we were doing price comparisons for the '08 H2, each of the 5 dealers had some '07's just sitting on their lots with early build dates. No one was looking at Hummers except us. The final dealer (this is after 4 months of checking around) kept after us .. calling us over the period of 4 days for a sale ... and this just 2 weeks ago. No one was on their lot looking.. and they are a major L.A. Hummer dealer. I went to fill the tank yesterday .. the guy in the Mini Cooper in front of me winked and said, "Save some for me". I gave a hundred dollar bill to the station attendant and he asked, "You don't want to fill it?"

Much could happen between now and 2014.
