I have one, because our company does construction work and has them for lifting things. I have not taken it with me wheeling and don't think I ever will. A) it is a heavy monstrosity B) I personally do not think the H2 has many good locations to use it on. C)A friend of mine who has a great deal of wheeling experience relayed a story to me about a friend of his that lost his eye due to the high lift popping away from the vehicle under weight as it got unstable. I can think of plenty of other ways to get out of most situations without the highlift and I think I'm going to keep it that way.

We used a hi-lift on Steve's H2 once. It actually worked quite well. The rock he was hi-centered was released when we got the weight off of it. It's a good piece of equipment to have. You just never know what you may need.

As long as the high-lift does not lift on the body you can place it just about anywere it will fit. Just be careful and think ahead of what you are doing.
I have used the High-Lift jack way too-many times to count. I once had one slip off of a rock while the weight of the truck was on it. Scary to say the least but nobody got injured. I also saw one hit a friend in the temple and knocked him to the ground when the shear pin broke, but he was fine after the birds stopped singing. They are dangerous (especially if you don't lube them well), but indispensiable to say the least. I recommend everyone on the trails to have one. Even if you use it once it will pay for it self.

Not only is the Hi-Lift a great jack, but it can be rigged up to be used as a winch. It is a definite must have when off-roading.
