Thanks! I'll post pics when I get it back from the shop. Its getting a 12K Hydraulic winch and I had the H2 wheels machined to fit the H1 and work with the CTIS. It came with measly 35" BFG AT's on the stock 16.5 once piece wheels.:lame: :lame: .

OK here is some poser shots of it before......After shots with winch and tires to come. It looks small next to the other H1's at the shop (cool shop by the way).

You know, when I picked H2 Rocks I didn't think I'd post more than once or twice, and only on the Moab pm. HA! Talk about short-sightedness, I had NO IDEA I'd be driving an H1 that long ago!
Welcome to the club Alan! :D

Thanks! I love the H1. The crazy thing is it feels smaller than the H2. You sit lower in it and can see out much better. The turning radius is a bit worse I think but other than that it drives just as easlily as the H2. Now it rides a bit rougher (like a newer jeep, older discovery, Defender, etc.) which for me is fun, especially with the top off in nice weather.
Off road, it just has better traction at any given time (mine doesnt even have lockers). The diesel is a perfect match for the torque needed and it just never spins tires. It was amazing because I was scared I'd get stuck in some wet spots with the AT's but somehow it just keeps moving forward. Maybee the weight keeps it planted better, or the geared hubs do it, I don't know. The side sloping is ridiculous as well. I went about 40 deg and felt fine, I bet it would do 50 w/o flipping (especially an opentop). The gobs of torque down low is what really sets it apart when wheeling.

You mean you wouldn't let him change his user name even if it were Dick Hertz or Mike Hunt or some thing like that ?

I wont be horsing it like some folks we know do! :clapping: I am going to Kinzalows next weekend you should come. I lust tagged along to that event today. There is like 40 trucks going up there.
I am using my H2 wheels and the 37x12.50 Coopers for now. I had the wheels machined for the CTIS. I may go to the 40's after they are worn out.
