As y'all probably know by now, Hummers are pretty extremely rare over here in Belgium. My oldest daughter's (5 yo) teacher asked if I could come to her school with my truck. It was great to see my beast stormed by 25 rugrats... They all climbed on the roof, squeezed behind the wheel, found out about the airhorn :fdance: , even took my Jason mask :fdance: ... Well, those kids had a great time and that's what counts !!

Here's some pics :
ps : I didn't run over any...

^^^Yep, them little rugrats were freaked out !! Altough I don't like that many little kids (with that many little dirty greasy fingers :D ), it was still fun to see their appreciation for my truck.
Wonder how many of them will grow up to be Hummer Hatin' Tree Huggers :fdance:

When I pick the kiddos up at daycare, they all go crazy. Their other parents usually have them in tow.

what was the occasion that made this all go down?

what was the occasion that made this all go down?

the kindergarten teacher just asked my wife if she went to school to pick up our daughter and my wife asked me, and of course I agreed. You can never start teachin' those rugrats young enough about the good things that come from Northern America !! :beerchug:

Frenzy,
So I've often wondered how did you go about getting an H2 in Belgium? Did you have it shipped over? There can't be that many over there. Do you draw crowds every time you park it some where? Is the reaction positive? How is it with the narrow streets? Are they worth more or less $$ over there? And last but not least, with the euro at @ $1.57 to $1.00 USD right now, what does it cost you to fill it up?

We had it imported through a small dealer, specialised in rare usa trucks. He made sure all the documents/paperwork were done before it got here, so that we didn't have any problems getting it street legal. There are about 10 in Belgium.
I do indeed attract alot of attention. Driving through a town without being noticed is impossible for me...
The streets are indeed narrow, but I'm used to driving big rides. My previous was a dodge ram, so...
I don't really know about resale value. As they're very rare vehicles, lots of gas, HUGE, ... and you need a special drivers license too. Plus, it's pretty expensive. But, I buy a truck because I like it, I don't think about resale value.

When I fill up both my tanks (LPG and regular gas), it's about 270 ?uros.

Great job Frenzy..That must have brought a HUGE smile on your face to see how much love the kids had for your H2. I'm still amazed at how the little ones really are attracted to the Hummer. No matter where I go, especially since I do a lot of car shows, it's the little ones who love to have their pics taken by my BRUTE..And when I let them sit in the driver's seat to allow their parents to take their picture, their smile is from ear to ear..BRUTE :beerchug:

Most Excellent thing to do Frenzy.

Oh remember kids wipe the buggers under seat edges or dash edges and come to think of it under about any edge like bumpers or fender wells.

So a really good detailing would be in order.

Thanks really for showing the rig to the kids so they have a head start of appreciation of our big rigs and maybe prevent more FUH2 members from being recruited.
