Hello All,
New to this forum.
Picking up my new 2008 H2 SUT this Friday and I am dam excited. I have been shopping around for a H2 since 2006. I finally pulled the trigger when I seen how much they have dropped. People are stupid I tell you. Whining about the price of gas while ignoring the thousands they will lose from selling there SUV's. Price of the demo model I am purchasing from the dealer is $15000 less then the sticker. People don't think how much gas that can buy?!?!?!
I been in love with this vehicle for years. Since I was in the 1st gulf war riding the HUMVEE version. I so can't wait.
I hope all those HATERS go buy vehicles that get 100 miles per gallon, so that the price of gas drops to 50 cents a gallon.
When a year or two goes buy and the price of gas drops, and they have this piece of junk vehicle sitting in there driveway, wondering why they changed there whole life style, I will be laughing.
In either case, I am glad to join you good people and maybe from time to time, if I get wrapped around the axle with H2 questions, I may bug you good people. Till then, enjoy.
Regards,

I agree, there never has been a better time to buy an H2. Congratulations!! I've only had my SUT a month and already have a 1000 trouble free miles on it and love it. Who buys a Hummer for the mileage? NO one I know.:iagree:

I like my H2, this is my third one... gas prices are not gonna go down. We will never see $2 gas again. It might dip back into the 3's, but we're screwed. I just bought an M3, it gets 24 on the freeway. I was offered a whopping $32K for my 06 H2 with black interior and 28K miles.... I'm keeping it for now.

Hey Bro..Like your philosophy..I was the same way when they came out in 2003 and finally bought one in 2004. Still have it, better now then when I bought it new. I've made it into a show car and it still racks up the wins..Wherever I go, people still admire it and give me a thumbs up..Congrats and enjoy..BRUTE:perfect10s:

Thank You all for the kind words. My rig is sitting in my driveway home now. Drove it back from Ill to NJ. Love Love Love, is all I can say riding it back. Most people were cool when I stopped. Just shootting the breeze, wanting to talk to about my truck. No one got foul while I was out. But then again, I have that type of personality people don't say much, unless they are looking for a bad time.
Either way, You guys are cool. I am going to park in here every chance I get. By the way, you guys always mention pictures. Where do you want them posted and how? You guys talking like a profile picture or picture archive?

Hey bro. When you post a reply, if you scroll down a bit, you will see the words "manage attachments" and if you click on it, it brings up the browser window and will allow you to access your picture file and upload your Hummer pics..They can't be any more than 300kb, check them out first to see how big they are and if they are bigger, then resize them..Looking forward to seeing them...LIKE NOTHING ELSE-----BRUTE

I agree. I just bought an immaculate Z71 Tahoe with 75,000 miles for $9,600 on craigs list, its basically a free car. Here is the Math...
Use it for 4 years, sell for 3grand....so
6600 in depreciation over 4 years is 1650/year or 137/month
lets say gas for one month is 4 tanks at 22 gallons and even at $5/gallon thats $110 x 4 weeks so $440/mo
So my car/gas will cost me $577/moth of which $440 is a write off!
I think they guy was just so afraid of the gas prices, etc. I figured I'd take advantage of the hysteria. He bought it new for $42,000. He lost his bawls on this one. I love it, its a great incognito/professional/client type of car. You can blend in but not look to cheap.

Hey Bro, thanks for the advice. I was wondering why my uploads were failing. Appreciate the help. Soon as I resize it, I will post it up. Or might wait till I clean my Rig up first and then post a good picture.
