In my city there is a 2003 H2 with 73,000 miles on it and they are asking $19,777. Would i be crazy to go in there and offer $16,000 with no trade? :notallthere: :)

I was raised by a grandfather who always told me the only dumb question is the one you do not ask. What is the worst they can do, just so no and offer to split the difference with you. You still come out better just because you asked.

SWEET, they just emailed me back and said they would do it for 17k with no inspection. they also said if it breaks in two pieces...i own both pieces. lol.

Just be careful, some people tend to get stupid behind the wheel of a vehicle like a HUMMER, make sure they didn't do a Paul Sr. to it.

Tell them in that case you would like to take it to your mechanic and have him look over the truck. Do you have a mechanic you trust?

yeah, but i live over an hour away from this dealer so it would be hard to do that. i'd have to ask them if i could take the h2 for like 4 or 5 hours.

i once did an overnight test drive...not an H2 but i did it...helps to know the salesman...lol...
