Depends on a few things like if they are factory or aftermarket. . . Some of the factory installed units were installed with an fm transmitter. If this is the case you will easily see it in the console and you can see what frequency it is transmitting the sound on. . . Otherwise if it is a factory setup you should have some headphones that will pick up the sound at close range (like sitting in the seat). . . If it is aftermarket . . . let the trouble shooting begin

I have an 06 with factory installed DVD headrest units. Its an FM transfiter that works with cordless head phones provided. I know you can get head phones through the dealership. In my set up you cant play the sound through the truck speakers, or at least i havnt figured out how to yet. I also notice that my head rest units have a little head phone plug so you can plug in corded head phones.

Okay, I got the sound working on an fm station.... Now I'm wondering where I'd find a remote to run them. I bought the truck wrecked and and we fixed it. There was'nt a remote. Will a dealer be able to help me?

In 03 there was no factory option for a DVD headrest system. What brand are they? They are clearly aftermarket. I had Invision in my 03 and the 05 that I just sold. My local GM dealer sells Invision as an add-on. I am in NH.

so, do you have a picture also? As far as remotes, goto ebay and type in vizualogic remote. You should be able to find them there...

Maybe it requires wireless head phones? :twak:
