have an 03 h2 with rear airride. i have my own setup, where i do not use the stock tank and compressor. about 8 months ago i unhooked the ground on my tank/compressor. today i decided to get rid of the whole unit, so i could relocate my tank and compressor for my airhorns. all i did was take out the 4 bolts, unhooked the airlines, and unhooked the two plugs for the compressor. now the h2 wont start. all the accessories come on, (lights, radio, etc) however truck does not even turn over. is this a security thing? do i need to get it towed to the dealer? anyone have a solution??

i have unhooked the battery a few times (5 min, 30 min ..) to see if anything would reset itself.

i have hooked the compressor back up and plugged it back in, then tryd starting it again, still nothing.

checked fuses and relays. they all seem to be in working order

i am out of ideas. please any advice would be much appreciated. thank you

Does the starter relay click when you try to crank? If it does check for power at the starter motor, small terminal when key is in crank position. If power is good you need a starter, try hitting it with a hammer a few times it may crank. Is the security light on?

all i hear is the fuel pump clicking on when i turn the key. ill check for the starter relay tonight after dinner (i assume i can put a test light on it also?) and yea, i hit it with a hammer last nite a few times, still nothing. my cousin is bringing me a voltage meter/tester tonight, i was guna see if there was power to the starter and if so start by replacing that.

and no, no security light pops on when i turn the key, except soon as i turn the key, and within 2 seconds it goes away. the "info center" on my cluster shows my milage on it. nothing there either.

ill check the power to the starter tonight, and if i have power goin to it, ill replace the starter, hopefully tomorrow. other than that anyone have any other ideas? ill let you know sometime tomorrow or thursday whats up

Sounds stupid but make sure all doors are closed. Lock the truck then unlock the truck using your remote keyfob.... H2s lock themselfs out all the time. Worth a try......
