Just pull the whole console apart in my 06 SUT, and started plug-in of upac-gmc2 (PAC unit). Very simple install, followed the directions...

and NOW the NAV/Radio headunit will not even turn on! So I unplugged the blue PAC box, disconnected the battery, but STILL nothing.... I am sooo pissed. I hope this didn't damage my NAV headunit!

Anyone have any advice? I will probably have to get someone from PAC on the horn tomorrow...

I feel your pain.
I tried installing a ipod adaptor, but I ended up going to an installer that the local dealership uses.

I ended up buying a Perephiral.

Anyways, the adaptor works great, but the installer messed up my trim panel getting to the back of the unit.

:twak:

The frustration for our modern conveniences is endless.
:soapbox:

Hope its a simple fix.

Sorry I can't assist you...just know the feeling of being helpless.

I don't have a Answer for you! But I have the USA SPEC PA11-GM took about about 45 mins. to install and has work flawlessly with my 3g iphone.:perfect10s:
Here's a link http://www.crutchfield.com/g_305250/iPod-Adapters-for-Car-Stereos.html?search=USA+Spec+VENDORID581&searchdisplay=USA+Spec&tp=120
I hope you can get it figured out!!!!

thanks for the support. I will be calling PAC here in a bit.

I used to do stereo installs in my younger years! This one baffles me, as the NAV unit doesn't even want to come to life now! Almost like if a computer got wiped or something. :crying:

whoo hoo! Thank-goodness for tech support! They walked me thru fixing the problem. Come to find out I had to reset the PAC unit by taking it apart and short the capacitor.

:D
