I like it and the color is different too.:perfect10s:

If it were mine I would go with the blackened look and not chrome bling (I realize this is how you bought it btw)
but this is my opinion.

Great truck either way and welcome to the list too. ~Richard

Nice ready made Hummer you saved yourself some time in mods. whats under the hood and lift kit would be nice :iagree: with spline. I also noticed it been wheeled step rail brackets are bent, not that i havent done that to mine, both sides.lol

Welcome to the wonderful world of H2 ownership. Where wrench turning is as common as filling the gas tank! lol

That's kind of what I was thinking... I don't see anything bent but I'm not the most observant person....lol.

Other than that, that's a great color. Don't think I've ever seen that color.

I also agree... lift it.

I did mine.

The brackets that hold the tube steps are angling back toward the rear tire. Happened to both of mine going over stumps in a clear cut area. Following the service manager from the Hummer dealer go us into that mess. Only way out was to turn around and go back through it. On the way back through said screw it, took all the stumps dead center and bouced them off the skid plate. It was under warranty then. :)

You sure it ain't the angle of the pic?

If not, you've got good eyes....

Thanks to everyone that had commented I dont know what he is seeing but I have a buddy and his steps look the same as mine I am not saying that they are not bent but they look the same as another hummer but you may know more about it than me I am a newbie.

Easy enough.... just take a pic perpendicular to the truck so you can see the sidesteps straight on and see if the brackets are pushed backwards.

Personally, I think it's the angle of the pic you took.

They're bent back, no matter the angle. Maybe they are aftermarket support brackets??? The chrome step tube on mine is slightly forward of the rock guard on the front end, this one is not.

What ever it does not matter I was just asking what people think of my Hummer not to bash it and talk about stuff the matter with it.

DUDE!!!! No offense, but you sound like an idiot, that could easily be the angle of the camera, stop pointing out little things that "might" be wrong with his rig, HE JUST GOT IT, even if it was bent back why must you point it out like if you saw a pimple on a Playmate's forhead... so what?? you gonna point at it and laugh??? c'mon bro, still a bad ass H2.

I did not point it out, just agreeing with what was said earlier about them being bent back. Why don't you read the whole post? Dude, no offense, sounds like you're the frickin idiot....................:raar:

Definitely not the camera angle, could be aftermarket support brackets ???

Guess if you are not in the Hummer Forum clique, it's best to keep your comments to yourself. You guys are so high school

Man, there ain't no click.... but I do have to say, you did kinda come off sounding like it was something that must be pointed out.

This crowd has some thick skins so they're ain't no click. (spelled clique btw)

Anyway, point is, still nice lookin' truck.

BTW Roush, That was fukkin' hilarious.... (comment about a pimple on a playmate's forhead [sic] (spelled forehead btw) :fdance:

And Devis... Man you take things personal.... all I said was to leave the man's ride alone, he's gotta be so excited since he just got it, I know I was when I got my first one, you did come off like you were just pointing sh*t out and confirming that "they're definitely bent back!!" with just looking at one picture, I know if I was him I wouldn't wanna hear that kind of thing anyways.
and Trust me.... there is no clique.... but sounds like somebody got defensive... oooooohhhhhoooooooo:fdance:
its okay man, sorry if I hurt your feelings.

First observation by wingn69 ?I also noticed it been wheeled step rail brackets are bent, not that i havent done that to mine, both sides.lol?

Second observation by chizel ?The brackets that hold the tube steps are angling back toward the rear tire. Happened to both of mine going over stumps in a clear cut area.?

Owner wondering what the first two are seeing, bchas92097 ?Thanks to everyone that had commented I dont know what he is seeing but I have a buddy and his steps look the same as mine I am not saying that they are not bent but they look the same as another hummer but you may know more about it than me I am a newbie.?

Third observation but first made by Devis1957 ?They are definitely bent back from stock...............?

Forth observation and second made by Devis1957 ?They're bent back, no matter the angle. Maybe they are aftermarket support brackets??? The chrome step tube on mine is slightly forward of the rock guard on the front end, this one is not.

Not beating up on the new truck bchas92097 but, after two comments saying it looks as they are bent back and then you questioning it and then Devis1957 saying that they look bent back and uses what he sees on his own truck and from me looking at other trucks on the interweb with the tube steps I got to say that they do look bent towards the rear. I even went as far as saving the pic on my computer and used Photoshop to take a lot closer look at it and the brackets do look bent back. It is no big deal but just an observation and after you asked "I just pick this up and was wondering what you guys think about it let me know" thoughts were given.

Now, again, this is not to slam your new truck in no way but maybe a hint to you to look under the truck for other signs of some possible heavy off roading, (not as bad a OCC?s hill jump, inside joke on forum) but that it may be worth a look so you know what you got going on with your new truck and to make sure you are not going to have any "surprises" down the road. I really hope that there is nothing else wrong but three people(four counting myself) did point it out just to give ya a heads up.

Enjoy your new truck, have fun, Peace, Ed

Not sure what, if anything, happened... but I just popped my nurf bars off and back on.. and my brackets are straight.

Those seem so in sync... is the other side like that??

Shoot man.. just look under the truck.

Nice looking rig...
