I just went on a spending spree on my rig, thought i would share some pics.....got a little picture happy, couldnt help myself

-swapped wheels to some Fuel 20x12's
-went from 38's to the Toyo Open country 40x15.5's
-kryptonite tie rods
-cognito UCA's
-cognito steering support items
-Spohn Performance adjustable panhard bar
-rancho steering stabiliizer
-green keys
-suspension maxx 1.5" rear spacers
-PIAA 5100's with Warn mount

just ordered the Cognito dual shock hoop mount. Still debaing on running dual Bilstein 5100's or going with the Fox resi's. I know I dont need the duals, but they look to cool to pass up on. Question is should I spend the extra 5 bills on the Fox resi's.

Its a 6" Fabtech but I added 1.5" spacers int he rear and green keys in the front. I also added the Cognito UCA's to allow for better ball joint angles with the additional crank ont he green keys.

I gotta say, the extra 1.5 to 2" made a huge difference, its definitely slightly challenging to get in with the LE steps on it. I might go the AMP power steps route in the future, its just hard for me to pay that much for some dame side steps.

My wife was trying to get our 11 month old in a car seat in my truck the other day.....comical to say the least. The baby usually doesnt ride in the Hummer too much, probably even less now.

ive wondered about this also.....how my wife is going to react to having to climb into my truck. granted 4" lift with 1.5" taller tires isnt alot, but shes used to it right now. im sure ill laugh when she gets in it. my grandma rides with me quite a bit when shes home, and its hard enough for her to get in it now...shes pretty short.

TTLex, I must say, damn good job!! That rig looks sick. I love all the black. Question?? Did you have to re-regear your ride since you went with the 40's? How is the pickup? Or have you done any performance mods to the engine or exhaust?

thanks for the compliments

I have not changed the gearing yet, I probably will down the road though. To be honest with you, I dont feel a big difference between the 40's and the 38's that I had on prior to these.

I have the Volant air intake and superchips programming, and exhaust, otherwise stock

yep, I line-x'd the grill and all of the bumpers front and rear

Great mod, easy to clean, and holds up well. No more worrying about fading plastic bumpers

I can toast too that...:beerchug:

I may go with the color match line x on my grill since mine is green, then leave the rest trimmed in black. So many choices....lol

You used linex on the interior pieces? Looks good. Did you do all the interior or just the rear? Does it spray on or brush on?

I had everything except the dash and console sprayed with Line-X. Those I did myself with Duplicolor spray-on bedliner. The Line-X would have made the dash pieces too thick to fit back together properly; not too mention trying to fit the AC vents back in those holes.

Line-X must be sprayed on at a Line-X dealer.
