All your kiddies have a good first day? Four of our five children are now in school. The 12, 10 and 5 year olds made it a point to show up in mommy's Hummer the first day. What is it with kids and Hummers?

Hey Doc, I hear the Pot Holes in Moses Lake is great for sand wheeling. Have you been there?

My neighbors go all the time with their ATV's and beer. I haven't been yet. It's probably one of the largest areas on this side of the state. Are you planning on heading out there sometime? I know it's just south of moses lake. I was speaking with my bro-in-law last week and he was thinking about taking a run to the Naches Trail, or parts of it...Have you tried that? Hey, if you're gettin' rid of your H2, how are you going to haul your family out for wheelin'?!?!? http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

"SAND DUNES
Hike, slide, or ride your off-road vehicle on over 3,000 acres of sand dunes south of the city of Moses Lake. Go four miles south on Division St., then follow the signs - and six miles of gravel road - to the ORV park. Camping is permitted here, but there are no facilities."

Kindergarten! My oldest was so excited. My wifey was too(That means only one to wrangle not two). http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Yep, the looks and waves we got when we dropped him off in the Hummer. H2s are still a rare sight here.

They grow up too fast.

"Little Mama" just turned three and I have never had her in a daycare or preschool setting.
She has an older woman that has cared for her when I work and couple of days a week since she was 4 mos. So it has always been one on one. I have been looking into preschools and was going to put her into one early this month, a "Montessori Academy", more for social skill development, she is very smart and we teach her basic things at home.

It is supposed to be the best, but when I went in to tour and observe, I just couldn't do it. I just couldn't see her there, the play area was very small and the kids had snot etc... And they wanted her there 5 days a week! It kinda freaked me out. I would miss my beautiful, sweet, good smelling, soft and tiny little sidekick. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Anyway, I should be free of both during the day but I have to find a better place first. Until then, I get to play with my beauty. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Has anyone had experience with a Montessouri school?

Yep, with a little damage. You should have looked me up while you were here, although I was fairly inaccessible until a little over a week ago due to the storm.

If you need any help in any way down here, PM me and let me know. Also, let me know if you come back this way.

Will do, thanks. I stayed at the Cabot Lodge, along with 10 thousand other families. I also ate fried pickles for the first time! In fact, there wasn't a damn thing that wasn't fried at every meal! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

It funny how the cultural food differences are among the states. The local TV station was interviewing a teenage girl that was displace out in LA due to the hurricane and she was saying how yukkie the food was out here, all the Californians have is burritos, nothing fried. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

Q. Is a gherkin simply a small pickle?

A. No. Gherkins, also called West Indian or Burr cucumbers produce small, exceptionally spiny members. Gherkins are similar to common pickles except the plants are smaller and require less space.

Co-Pilot they have fried pickles and are great. Hooters is the only place I have been abel to find the fried pickles. Was told about it and it was great. Now I want to find Fried Green Tomatoes as they are delicious also. I only go when We travel out of state. The Hooters in AR went under after they had been letting under age kids drink and a pair kids got killed after leaving from Hooters drunk. Not to far down the road. There is suppose to be one coming back this winter since it has been 3 or 4 years now.
Try them sometime I think You would be surprised. I like the hot wings fried of course like every where in the south.

Oh great shot Alec. I wish I had thought of it.

I have only been to Hooters a couple of times to watch a game that I did not get when cable was not out in the boonies. Other than girls basicly wearing bathings suits I did not think it was a pervy looking place. You see girls walking down the street in less clothes than the Hooter girls. Allot of the girls were not all that nice lookin which may not have been the norm. I do like the food though because I know I can get FRIED PICKLES.
Not a very experienced perspective but, just My take on it. Good grief Co-Pilot and Kacy's lady are lot better lookers than most of the Hooters girls i saw. Maybe the south does not tow the line in minimum requirements.

PARAGON the last one i went to was on the road out of Memphis heading to Tupelo. You probably know the one I visited. I stopped there year before last going to softball tourney in Decatur and this year going to Dothan, AL.

I worked for a doctor a couple of years ago who had an office right next door to hooters...in between the gym and hooters actually. the patients were always staring out the window waiting for the girls coming from the gym and heading to hooters....

Klaus Dothan had the best facilities in a city ball park I have been to in 3 or 4 years for national level. It was also a nice town. After We got there We found out they have over the years hosted 2o something national titles.

Oh being I'm a southern as You can get I figured We could talk abuot Our own but, not right for those outside the south. Right? http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

Just pulling your leg, TAZ. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Yep, I love the Dothan area. The only problem is that living in that area you can either work for peanuts or plow them. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

It was great living only 100 miles from the Redneck Riviera! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
