For those who don't read Truck Trend the H2 was rated best in class for Ultimate-Performance SUV beating out the Range Rover and M-B G500. We all know this but it's nice to see in writing. Here is the article:

Nice. But notice how they have to take a jab at the H2 by saying it's a "collection of GM parts". And I'd almost forgotten that lame magazine.

Well...the H1 is actually a compilation of many parts too: GM, Ford, Chrysler....etc!!! Many H1 guys hail the use of GM parts as a very good thing: relatively well made, time-tested, affordable, available!

And DRTYFN.....I think it would have been more appropriate to refer to the magazine not as as "lame"....but "lame-ass". If nothing else, you're consistent with your intensity...don't let-up now!! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Steve,
I was going to really blast the magazine for kissing Japanese automaker ass, but decided not to. I had a nice string of expletives and scatlogical references ready to go, but went the other direction. Sorry. I'll let one rip the next time an opportunity presents itself.

They didn't even use the 03 Range Rover. But I am curious what conditions they tested all those vehicles in. And I don't get why they had a X5 4.6is and an escalade.

OK, maybe Truck Trend does suck but at least they gave the H2 a favorable rating in a world where so many people (so the media will lead you to believe) hate the H2! I hope GM comes out with a 9 passenger H5 that is 13 inches wider and 2 feet longer that gets 2 mpg so I can buy it and really piss people off.

What's up with all this GM parts, Ford parts, Japanese automakers....BLAH BLAH BLAH.

FYI: NASA Space Shuttle

33% Japanese parts
27% Mexican parts
17% Russian parts
13% Canadian parts
7% American parts
3% Other 3rd world parts

Who gives a f*%@. I just love my H2 and it IS the best. No loser magazine has to tell me that.
