Wheel and Tire Question

I just ordered a set of 22x9 inch wheels to go with a set of 37x13.50 nitto mud grapplers. My question is.. do you guys think that a 9 inch wheel is not going to be fat enough for that tire? I heard the wheels may suck the side walls of the tire in too much and cause excessive tire wear and a terrible ride. Would I be much better off with a 10.5 inch wide tire?

You'll be fine with 22x9's. There's a few people on the board running that. You have to figure that's 4.5" wider than the rim but a lot of guys here that run 38x15.5's are running them on 10" wide rims and that's 5.5" wider than the rim.
