lexpro,
Could you give me a contact name and # so I can all them to see about making one and shipping to me in KC please.
My local shop is giving me the runaround wanting me to buy the $700 JL that fits behind the spare with an additional $150 to install it (sub only), than you get the installer saying extra $150 to install the wiring for the amp etc because it is one of the hardest vehicles to install....BS I think anytime someone gets to woek on H2 they think they get more $$$$
PM me with info please as well as name of youe amp etc.
Thanks,
Mike

Have a questian to lexpro.
When you mounted your sub box, are you still able to fold down the seat? or is it in the way

It is screwed to the seat rails that bolt to the floor.....the seat does not fold down unless i remove the box/amp rack and unplug the wires from the amp it is attached with 4 screws.

GVME20,
Did you buy the box yet? I don't live in KC anymore but used to have a lot of work done by a shop at 103rd and State Line. The were there for 20 years so assume they are still there. If so, talk to Mark. Great work and pricing.

Hummernewbie,
Never did get it installed, one of those things that comes and goes. The shop on 103rd & State Line quit selling car audio about 2 years ago they only do home audio & custom home audio.
At times I wished I lived in Florida where thier is no snow or cold weather.

GVME20,
Had no idea they no longer did car audio. Used to do some really high end systems but they were always high end home audio. Not sure where you are in town so it could be too far to drive, but Kief's in Lawrence also did great work. Friend of mine used to be an installer there and we did some high end systems for my vehicles when he was there. Are you adding the sub to the factory system or did you change that as well? Waiting for delivery on my first Hummer and not sure what I am going to do system wise.
Your really not missing much by not living in Florida. Been here 10 years now and wouldn't mind moving back there, its a place to live. Kind of bored with it here. Don't mind the snow and cold weather but maybe that is just because I only get a week or so of it a year when I visit. I think I would have more fun with a hummer there than down here.
