what % did you tint your windows.
I had mine done with 20, it looks great and mathces well. Just wondering what others did.

I'm also curious what you had them tinted at, I still haven't gotten around to having mine done. From what I recall, the stock tint is around an 18, but that doesn't sound right because they aren't nearly as dark as the 15's I had on my WRX.

In Wisconsin 50% is the legal limit, I think he said I will be about 8% past that. I dont remember exactly what he said he put on anymore & the receipt is still in the hummer http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif
I will look tomorrow and let you know, it is not as dark as the other windows but its much closer now and I shouldnt have to worry about the State Troopers.

This is 42%. I would have liked it darker but the troopers here stop people for that http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Wow, that actually looks great, not too dark, not too light. 50% is the legal limit there? Damn man, its 35% here, but cops aren't too big on pulling you over for tints, they'd have to pull over an entire lane on the highway, or just shut down the roads all together to give everyone and there mother a ticket http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

here is a pic of my h2 with 20% tint. Not too dark I can't see, but dark enough you can't see in.

Has anyone tinted over their rear windows? I am thinking about putting really dark stuff on them. I do not use the inside mirror much anyway.

I'm getting 20% put on the 2 front windows next Thursday. I'll be posting pics. It should look pretty good with my Yellow exterior.

Rich,

I love it, you did a fantastic job. I'm going through the process of doing the same thing to mine. I still can't make up my mind about the Black wheels.. I love them, but then at times I think it is too much Black. I'm leaning towards the former though.. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Anyone want to trade for a set of Black bars for the Silver?

Best Regards,
-Justyn

I finally got around to washing mine off today since it was a balmy 42. I didn't miss washing it at all.

Frank...those windows are 5% right? Looks great! Is it too hard to see out? Are you glad you did 5%?

Just did my fronts @ 20% and thinking about doing the rear in 5%.

Yes it is 5% the whole way around. It's extremely hard to see out of at night but I am glad I did it. I like the feeling of privacy since nobody can see in them unless your face is plastered on the window but even then you barely see anything.
