I bought the Monster Cable iCarPlay FM Transmitter & Charger for my iPod.

It sounds OK, good enough while I wait for PAC's AUX input to become reality.

My main problem with the iCarPlay is that the HUMMER doesn't seem to shut down power to its power plugs after the key is removed from the truck. This means I have to plug the iCarPlay in and out of the truck twice a day, which is a pain.

Does anyone know how I can get the HUMMER to kill power to its 12V outlets when I remove the ignition key? Many cars do this. Wish our HUMMER would.

Thanks.

I did this for my navigation unit (garmin 2620). All I did was run an accessory lead to the HOT side of the two wires going to the Lighter. I capped and taped the wire I cut and I was done. Took about 15 minutes.

Hope that helps.
