The legacy of the inventor of dynamite Al Nobel. Has placed Al Gore on its pinnacle the Noble prize for his work in global warming. Whats your judgment?

I thought Al invented the Internet?

He didn't discover or prove global warming or come up with a cause or solution. He used his status as a former VP to spread the word and made a movie about it. I wonder if he tells people that his family owns coal mine everytime he gives a speach.

I remember hearing about the greenhouse effect many years ago way before I ever heard of Al.

I don't think he should have recieved the Nobel prize and certainly shouldn't use it to help him run for Pres. Hillary is proably kind of worried right now:)

Yes immediately after inheriting a fortune in coal money Al Gore systematically invented the internet and found that all the coal burning had caused a big problem.
He then built a huge home bought a Lincoln navigator and had Tipper take the coal train on a whistle stop tour to warn the Neocons of danger on the right wing...

He's an idiot. He makes more mental blunders in a year than W could make in 100 lifetimes.
Goreisms (http://www.usa-patriot.net/goreisms.html)
"The Holocaust was an obscene period in our nation's history. I mean in
this century's history. But we all lived in this century. I didn't live
in this century." -- Vice President Al Gore, 9/15/95 I rest my case.

That made me laugh and shake my head when I heard this news today...It just degraded the validity of the Nobel Peace Prize. I'm sure he flew his private jet to go pick it up. Fawkin Hipocritical Klown.

Gore Wins Nobel Prize, High Court Gives It to Bush

(2007-10-12) ? Although former Vice President Al Gore won the Nobel Peace Prize this week for his work as a global-warming performance artist, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled early today that President George Bush would receive the gold medal, the diploma and the $750,000.

Mr. Bush, who was narrowly defeated by Mr. Gore in the 2000 presidential election, thanked Justices John Roberts and Samuel Alito ?for swinging the vote my way, and helping me to join the pantheon of great Nobel laureates like Jimmy Carter and the late Yassir Arafat who together brought peace to the middle east.?

Mr. Gore could not be reached for comment as he was returning from Oslo, Norway, in a private jet. However, his spokesman said that his efforts to bring peace on earth speak for themselves.

?Thanks to Al Gore?s movies, speeches and books,? said the unnamed spokesman, ?Terrorists and tyrants around the world will soon lay aside the weapons of war and give peace a chance by working together to develop a hybrid car that runs on cheap, clean-burning gunpowder.?

I've got my own alternate theory on global warming; the greenhouse effect gets a lot of play but nobody mentions the millions of acres of pavement and it's effect on stored and reflected heat.

All the BS aside, the whole global warming scare will pass and the focus will shift to something else just like when we all heard concerns about 1) the homeless, 2) universal healthcare, 3) foreign threat (insert name here).

I predict the next big challenge will be getting out of the mess created by the shift to bio fuels like ethanol and it's impact on the food supply and global markets. (it's already happening)

:iagree: We are already getting the pre-water BS issues from alot of farms switching form crops we need, to frikken corn, so they can cash in on the etho BS pipe dream that is being hyped.:fdance:

.............as far as algore, he's nothing more than an anal douche as is the nobel peace prize...it's become meaningless, worthless like the UN that he is sharing the award with...when assmonkeys like carter, arafat, and anus gore can win it, it's worth nothing more than a prize from a cracker jack box!

I feel that allowing Gore to win Nobel has bastardized and diminished the relevance of the award for the past and future winners.....Gore's a joke and now the Nobel is too.

I wonder how many homes you could provide power to with the power that Gore uses to operate his home?
