I have NOT tried them. Based upon the e-bay photos and text, I would say that they look like crap, they are made of crap and my best guess would be that they will sound like... You guessed it. They don't say or show where they install so that you can use them "without giving up any room" (which I doubt). I would look for something more befitting the quality of your vehicle purchase.

I amm with tower. I would buy something else. I would check out a JL Audio combo/spec boxes. I don't really know what they refer to them as, but they are made custom for the h2, house the woofer, amp etc. Everthing is incuded. I have see some that fit under the rear seat. This way you air space, woofer and power range are all perfectly matched up. The box is also alot better looking than that ebay auction. I think that the price is very comparable to buying seperate components too! Probably get it done for under $500 for a single woofer.

I'm with tower and also suggest you go to a local audio shop as they do not charge all that much. Plus you get to have some input as to style etc. that you want them to pull off for you.

Ive got one 12" sub in mine in a square type box facing rearward behind the back seat (I dont run with the 3rd seat in place unless I know Im gonna be driving a bunch of people). If I need the storage space its set up to be quickly removed. I still have the stock bose system, I used a PAC interface to get the RCA signal for the amp...... the system sounds absolutely amazing and for the price you cant go wrong.

I have an sut, so i am limited on options, i went to one shop and they wanted $600 which i think it's steep, and thats just for the enclosure. i replaced my stock navi for the kenwood 8019 with navi, i replaced all the speakers with jl audio, and have a six channel jl audio amp. so all im missing is the subwoofer enclosure.

Well that definately changes things and really limits your options. I would find a speaker that requires the very least amount of air space and see if you can build a box to fit under that seat that will support the requirements...... probably not gonna hit like a box in the rear of an SUV but will still sound very nice. Problem with the small enclosure speakers is that they usually need alot of power so you may be looking at needing another amp.
$600 does sound pretty steep but how elaborate is the enclosure they are building..... if its got some goofy cuts/molding then it could get up into that range. If you have access I would check a few more shops that are capable of that kind of work and see if you can get a better deal.
Good Luck

Here is a box that I found:

It looks like it may be of higher quality, just from what I read.

Is that a CPU you have there next to the speaker box? I'd love to hook up a satellite receiver or maybe even a computer.

:iagree: YES!!!! That one is the best enclosure I believe I have seen to date. Very professional, sleek, and concealed. If it sounds as good as it looks, then that guy has got one helluva set-up.

I installed 2 12" JL audio woofers yesterday and I am assuming they hooked it up via the rear left speaker wire. Using this device does it improve the sound drastically?

I initially wired up my system using a line out converter from the rear speakers on either side of the rear gate, getting my signal from these speakers worked but I was not getting the very low range in terms of bass. I went ahead and ordered the interface (I have a similar one in my Z06) and it greatly improved the quality and range of sound, the interface is completely plug and play.

Thanks! Is this the same interface PAC makes which you can use with your IPOD? I had this installed, but later removed because it was giving occasional background noise. Not sure if it is the same exact device, Do you have a link?
