We've got a Cabela's near the Kansas Speedway that is rated the #1 tourist draw in the state.

I've lived in Kansas all my life and while I realize it's not the most exciting place in the World, having a retail store as your #1 draw is pretty pathetic

:jump: Man, I almost got caught. "Wow, this is a really interesting soda cup. I better take a picture.":giggling: Somehow her shirt slid back down over her giant muffin top just before the picture and I couldn't sneak another look to check before snapping the pic.

The article gave some stats on the Cabela's stores, the average store's gross sales is $100 million per year and I believe they said between 3 and 4 million people visit a store on average. Some people go on bus tours to the stores and even stay overnight. They also went on to say that a Cabela's is a destination retail store. Those guys are raking in the bucks!

FW does and it is sweet. Cabelas has a cooler physical location that Bass Pro. The nice thing about living in a Metroplex is we have a Cabelas and Bass Pro. We also have a dookie load of murders.

when they put in the one by the Dundee , Michigan exit off US23 it brought that part of michigan back to life. it was a wasteland of old building and farm fields. I have to say its been good for our family too as we go there for the regular shoping being so close. all the kids have Cabela's version of Carhart coats this year that I bought a week ago. its only like a 40 minute drive for me so I love it.
