Does anyone know how to SKIN a PUSSY CAT...this dam cat of mine is a PITA. In the middle of the night he bit my big toe because it was out from under the covers...he thinks my feet are toys...
and the little sun of a beoitch is always playing with his water bowl trying to knock it over...the little bastard...i change his water every day so its fresh but he keeps playing...a fawking mess he makes...
OH !
the bagel was good this morning just in case you wanna know...
well i like Verizon a hella of a lot better the ATT...except all those bastards keep following me around and that creep with the weird smile is always at the heat of the pack, he kinda looks
cana-mexi-oriental if you know what i mean !!! :D ,
yeah with those big teeth and all...
well gotta go set up Moms Verizon handheld (50 miles round trip) but the gas was around $3.07 9/10 down her way so i'll fill up again, except hte bastards don't take AX.

Good morning/afternoon.:)
Cats are for feeding hungry asians and old ladies that smell weird. Get rid of it.;):D
I haven't had anything to eat yet. I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes (diabetic when pregnant) a few days ago. Which is a complete shock because I have not gained a pound over what is normal (15 so far) and I have no history in my family. I just failed the hour glucose test- so badly in fact that they skipped additional testing and sent me straight to the specialist.
Long story short, I have to prick my finger 4 times a day to test my levels and I know it sounds easy- but I am terrified every single time. I would rather have it taken from a vein. It has this horrible toaster like spring-click sound. So I sit and procrastinate and pull my finger away for at least 15 minutes before I finally muster up and do it.:o
It feels so.....
http://www.boston.com/ae/movies/blog/little_shop_horrors_xl_01.jpg
I don't know how diabetics do it, I guess they get used to it but it all sucks- the diet and needles are not fun. I have a great appreciation for the their strength, more so than before.
So I just finished my wake up test and will eat in a little bit and do another an hour later.:(
Maybe RYD can hook me up with my supplies.;):D
Other than wallowing in my fear and new diet, I don't have anything planned.

OK LOVE... when doing your fingers don't do the middle, just the sides, so each finger gives you 2 tests (the sides don't have as many nerve endings as the middle) (blind people don't read braile with the sides}
after a week or so you will start to build up scar tissue on the sides and it will hurt less...
I test 3 to 5 times a day and take 5 shots a day plus an extra shot on monday night for my humira to control my RA (Rheumatoid Arthritics)
All diabetics react differently to different foods...my worse are bread, potatoes, rice and pasta...these 4 effect many people...you can't and don't want to cut them out entirely but use them to your advantage...
bread, try and deal with whole grain, think of plain white as poison...
rice, try brown as much as possible " " " " " "
potato, eat more sweet potato then white and if you eat white wash the skin good and make sure you eat it...
pasta, there are lots of whole wheat and low carb ones on the
market, keep to those. watch your amounts...
while your PG avoid sugar substitues, reduce your sugar intake, go to "Sugar in the Raw"...many good food stores have it.
HERES MY OVERALL ADVISE:
during your entire PG...
avoid beer, wine, liquer, smoking, smoke, sugar subs, butter subs, to much salt, fatty meats, not dark chocklete, ALL SODA
reduce intake on canned foods, red meats, smoked foods, spicy foods, hot sauces, tomato products, cakes, pies, ice cream, sugar snacks, all foods with high saturated fats
increase fresh vegies, lots of beans (good protein) make your own home-made salad dressing (if you want receipes let me know), try and do organic vegies as much as possible and free-range meats and chickens ,fresh nuts and seeds
***by the end of the 5th month make sure hubby starts giving you foot and lower leg rubs, lower back rubs and shoulder and back rubs...
***keep active, walk, bend, do normal things...by the start of the 7th month watch how much weight you lift...
***if you get tired, STOP and rest A LITTLE, do not do long naps till the 8th month if you have to
LISTEN TO YOUR DOCTORS BUT DON'T BE AFRAID TO QUESTION THEM
Name it michael :beerchug:

OK LOVE... (RYD has become as British as Madonna!) when doing your fingers don't do the middle, or people will think you are flipping them off!:fdance:
wash the skin good and make sure you eat it all... Smartest thing RYD has ever said! Words for all women to live by.
after a week or so you will start to build up scar tissue on the sides and it will hurt less... I just can't!
HERE'S MY OVERALL ADVICE:
during your entire PG...
***by the end of the 5th month make sure hubby starts giving you foot and lower leg rubs, lower back rubs and shoulder and back rubs...Isn't that what got you here in the first place?
***if you get tired, STOP and rest A LITTLE, do not do long :giggling:
Most importantly, remember that all of the symptoms should abate postpartum. And then you won't need to worry about ANY of this.:excited:
Name it michael , since RYD is already taken!:beerchug:Fissed!

Big pot of chicken minestrone, busting open a bottle of Pineto with the wife, watching football, studying for finals week, 2 papers, and maybe being able to go to bed by midnight!
Co...my first wife was that way with our 3rd. Sorry to hear it, and, I feel for you. You are in our prayers. I'm not being a smartass but wholeheartedly sincere when I say:
Aren't you glad it's not type 1 or 2...pretty sobering thought. Lucky for you it'll pass!
Duck, maybe you can put one of those thumb condoms over your toes at night....

remember you have nothing to fear but fear itself...
Thanks RYD :), I was wondering why they want you do do it on the sides and not the tip. I had no idea you were really diabetic, are you Wilford??:D;) They offered me a "Liberty" bag for my supplies and almost bit my tongue think about you.:giggling:
My readings so far average 79 and I my highest has been 100 (lowest was 66 morning fasting), so I guess that is pretty good, right?
I'm sure I will get braver about it all, I only have about 10 more weeks to go anyway.:)

those are all normal readings... ??????????????????????????????
they like you under 110, some doctors will say 100... ??????????
General range (whatever that means is appx 70 to appx 100)
CHIT if i had those readings it would mean i lost 40 or 50 lbs and was fighting off all the women who would want to jump my bones...

LOL, Ken. That's why my hubby is now a Cowboys fan. Come over to the dark side, you know you want to. ;)
CP - that truly sucks. :( As if pg isn't enough to deal with with peeing 40 times a day, not sleeping at night, heartburn, and all that other lovely crap. Look at it this way....new blackmail for the little one in the years down the road. ;)
Felt quite overwhelmed today. 23 days till Christmas and a possible hard frost in 2 weeks....we have no Christmas decor up at all outside and my cold frames for the veggie garden haven't been started. Aaack.
We got a prototype built today of the frames at least. I think I can do 1 a day while the boy naps, I need 5 more. Which means in the afternoons, I can start pruning the bushes and overgrowth we call a front yard so we can at least put some kewl decor up. I felt empty not decorating for Halloween, and we had about 30,000 lights up on the old house last Christmas. It would be weird to leave this place dark. Although hubby has promised no ladder work this year (top peak of house = 3 stories)....almost fell off the extension ladder last year, and that was NOT cool. Concrete driveways are not that forgiving.
4 more days till we find out boy or girl. I have no preference at this point. As long as it's well behaved, I'm ok with it.
Speaking of well-behaved (ha ha), Demon Boy is playing with the Christmas train under the tree now. We got our tree up and decorated (found a good nursery 45 mins away that keeps the trees in water....they had a 13' Frasier Fir for $789!!!! The thing was about 10' in diameter, it was insane!). I give the poor tree display a good 2 days before (a) Boy pulls off and stomps about half the ornaments to death, (b) Boy pulls train off the tracks and hides the tracks in various parts of the house, or (c) Tree gets knocked over by wild Boy on his ride-on Hummer. Living with a 2 yr old is vastly over-rated.
