I finally got my H2 back after being left at the stealership for over a week, the problems that I had were as follows:

Climate control wasn't functioning properly

Side mirrors would not work

Speedo not working

parking lights not working

The service manager said that a bunch of codes came up on the obd scan and the culprit was the Viper 7900 alarm systems that had installed a few weeks ago at a local shop, apparently the remote start system somehow interferred with the ecu and cause the vehicle to go haywire.

Is this true or are they just trying to blow smoke up my azz by trying to blame it on something that's aftermarket ?

I dont think its out of the realm of possiblity...hell a chaffed wire on mine caused me all sorts of electronic anomolies.....did i spell that right?

I have seen so many electrical issues with newer vehicles from aftermarket components installed its crazy. A good and proper install helps but even then ive seen problems go away by just removing the non factory component. Had a car in yesterday for a no start, checked remote start and found the wires just twisted together and taped. Removed it and car ran fine.

i think its better not to add anything to the newer vehicles...the electronics are way to damn sensitive and run everything in the vehicle...
