I personally thought it was incredible. Really touched me too great suspense, great suprises. and i personally think it might be the most depressing movie ive ever seen, as soon as i got home i picked my dog up and still have her with me now (like 35 minutes ago) . a couple people in the theatre found it humourous, if you look at it like as certain invidual scenes some can be humourous, however as a whole the movie is quite depressing.
Anyone else see it... your thoughts?
p.s. I would totally recommend seeing it

I'm seeing it on Tuesday night! Not many movies catch my eye enough to take it past rental status, but this one does.:beerchug:
***Cloverfield is coming in January***
This one is the one I've been waiting for. It looks hella cool.

im defintly getting it too as soon as it comes out on blu-ray and same i thought it was by far one of teh greatest movies ive seen in a while. Along with everything it had you gotta really respect how well Will Smith can make himself that interesting in a role with no supporting people in it.

So far I haven't seen one bad review of the movie. Seems like all the critics are doing double time on the vagina rub over this movie.

Does the story line run similar to the Omega Man that Heston starred in?

About every 5-10 minutes she was covering her face. Both her and some other female a couple seats down would jump at the surprise scenes. It would be a movie I would pay to see again.

i'd say that Omega Man is a 70's flick. No its not b/w, came out about the same time as Soilent Green.
Might have to watch it today...LOL

Saw the trailer. Looks like a mix of Charlton Heston's Omega man and some Twilight Zone episodes with better effects...
The last man standing theme against the evil virus & its minions is of course good with Wil Smith as the new hero :drama:
Hollywood will score big on this!

I absolutely loved it. I did get embarrassingly weepy though. I, too hugged my dog(s) when I got home. That made me cry the most. Hopefully it'll be on HD when it comes out. :perfect10s:

Definitely a collectors DVD when it comes out.:beerchug:
It was worth seeing. Very cool. And I rarely go out to see movies.
I was however, disappointed with the movie long FORD endorsement.:twak::giggling:
And yes the dog death really got to me.
And I was surprised being he was at the time, the last man on earth and he was immuned to the virus, why he didn't try and tap some mutant ass when it was strapped securely to the table?:confused::eek::confused::eek::D
