In this undated photo released by Conservation International, mammalogist DENNISAJC holds a 1.4 kg giant rat that is probably a species new to science, in the mountains of Western Canada. Researchers in a remote forest near Vancouver have discovered a giant rat and a tiny possum that are apparently new to science, underscoring the stunning biodiversity of Western Canada, scientists said Monday, Dec. 17, 2007.(AP

I should have known better than to get involved in this--fortunately they taste a lot better than they look--it's sort of a connoisseur type of thing--you gotta drink a lot of wine or whiskey before you eat it.
