I took my H2 in for service 2 weeks ago and one of the issues I had was the driver seat memory or more specifically, lack of memory. They told me they had to order a new seat module. After not hearing from them in 2 weeks I called today to see what the hold up was. They advised me that the seat modules are now being made by a different manufacturer due to all the problems they were having with the previous ones and they are currently back ordered. Hopefully these will work better than the originals.

Just got my H2 back from service last week for the same thing. It took them two days to get the new seat mod. All good now! BIG-C

I called on Monday to schedule an appointment. Took it in this morning and had mine fixed. In and out in a day so the dealers must be stocking the new module.

Just picked up mine after having seat control module replaced. So far so good. I hope that is the end of that problem.

Past couple times driving the truck- slammed into the steering wheel and knees into the dash. Did the new module fix this? Dealer told my wife we had the key memory and key-fob memory on at the same time and this was causing confusion for the memory. Any truth to this or do I need to go in and get my new module?

Thanks
Anthony

Go in and get a new module. Mine was just done today, exactly the same problem as you described. Also, the "easy exit" setting often moved the chair forward instead of back.

Reportedly this problem doesn't occur in all '04s, but it did on mine.

Keep in mind, Hummer Man's warning about how the 2004 H2's would be full of cheap, cost saving measures including cheaper plastic parts, etc... Consider yourselves warned who bought a 2004 and not a 2003... My resale value in mid-2005 will be $10K higher than your 2004... The Wizard of Hummer told me so...
