Hey, I'm thinking about asking for one of these, probably blue to be different, for my barfday. Anyone have one and if so, any opinion on it?

Weber Performer, it takes a small propane tank to ignite the charcoals so you don't have to use fluid. That pretty much doesn't matter to me unless I need it lit quickly because I plan on using a chimney starter with natural lump charcoal.

Never saw one of those before. I"ve got a Vermont Castings grill....its awesome. Very heavy duty. It doesnt have all those gizzies on it though.

If you get one its BBQ for the whole forum at your house!

I love to grill and BBQ. And yes, there is a difference.:p We've got a natural gas Ducane that I use 3 or more times a week.

I have a propane smoker and I've been eyeing up one of those digital smokers that Cabela's is selling.

Nothing beats some low and slow smoked bbq thats for sure!

You know what you need? A full blown smoker. I know a guy, he's from Georgia but some how wound up in my nec of the woods and he loves smoking. He got his smoker from somewhere in GA while on vacation, I'll ask him where fro you next time I see him.

He wanted it for Christmas, but somehow it just didn't seem like a fun present. I don't think it seems very birthdayish either. I like giving toys and am a natural rebel, it has to seem like my idea.;):D

I looked at smokers too, but apparently this will offer more options. Men. And he likes vanilla over chocolate- boring.:notallthere: :D
