Okay guys, Is the snowflake supposed to appear on the Climate Control Display when the AC is on or just the Snowflake with the line through is (i.e., not) when the AC is NOT on. Seems my AC is a bit "flaky" when it comes to coming on or not, wondered if the absence of the snowflake might indicate something??
Thx,

There are certain settings where it won't come on. i.e., defrost
Mabee spring is around the corner??:D

That's weird in my Yukon the AC automatically comes on in defrost mode...
Is there an actual snowflake on the display or just the snowflake with the line through it. Owners manual says yes, but I never get one just the "off" one.

Thanks, the manual was very ambiguous...also told me that my wiper blades are 22" long...
Thanks again!

It depends on the year. On my original 2003 system it was exactly the opposite from when I replaced in with what was probably a 2006 or 2007 unit.

2003 has a snowflake with a line through it when the A/C is off.

Yep that is what I get, and when the AC is ON nothing. Okay, looks like all is "normal" time for a :beerchug:
