Not a bad looking Hummer. Some pretty impressive additions/upgrades to the interior, exterior and engine. Everything about the HX screams HUMMER. But it has an FJ look in some ways to me. Overall I like it. Wondering how everyone feels about the HX. Heres a link to video and pictures.

It looks like a mix between the Jeep Hurricane and FJ with a splash of roids.

Upon further comparison, I completely disagree.:D

Hold onto your breakfast!

You know, looking at those pics I don't see the resemblance.

But, looking at this one I do. I hope Hummer has the brains to stay away from the "electric blue" color.

BTW, shouldn't this be down in the H4 section.

Did you notice the V6 is rated at 304 Horsepower?

I still don't see a shred of resemblance between the FJ and HX. Must be the color.

I'm sure if we chopped a Jeep with the same color scheme as the FJ, it would bare a similar resemblance too.

Slightly detuned version of the CTS engine.:clapping: :clapping:

I do not see a likeness at all. That little jeep thing shown earlier most likely would not sell with no fenders on it. At least Hummer had enough sense to come up with a design that still resembles the Hummer heritage and appears to be street legal already.

Stay on top of the detractors DRTY as YOU are the BEST I have seen. PROPS

So, Is Hummer going to have this out in MOAB for Heep Week??? Would create quite a stir in the 4x4 Meca of the world....

I really like the HX concept, but I'm wondering about practicality of the removable panels. Where the heck do you put 'em? I know you could just throw them in the garage, but one advantage the heep has is the soft top. If you're out and it starts raining, you just put the top back up. If you don't have somewhere to store the top panels in the HX, you're screwed if it starts raining.

i would imagine that the interior will be engineered as indoor/outdoor and water resistant.
no floor carpet kit, just rubber and plastic, no factory leather options, maybe neoprene or some quick dry material for seats, etc.
i wonder how many working prototypes actually exist of this concept???
any rumors as to first year of production???

It's not like Hummer couldn't/wouldn't come up with some kind of soft top. The aftermarket will definitely come up with full & bikini tops for the H4.
