In my never-ending quest to enhance what I otherwise consider to be a nearly perfect vehicle (H2), I am searching for a product that would replace the existing plastic ends of the rear bumper with a steps; think Avalanche.
The design of the bumper seems to lend itself to this given that it's rugged plastic, removable, and the older models even have a recessed divot at this location (where some genius at GM later decided it would be the ideal place for another taillight...that's useful, not.)
I realize that there are steps designed to fit into the trailer hitch...but that's NOT what I'm going for. I'm trying to make the truck as useful as possible without a whole lot of attachable/detachable accessories; plus the trailer hitch step doesn't do much for me if I'm using the hitch for something else.
Input would be greatly appreciated...thanks.
