Do some digging with this assignment...depending on which side of the coin you look at...you just might find that Harley Davidson tried to sell em the engine (which they needed) and at the same time scam the plans for the airframe....

;)

The Wright Brothers Aeroplane did not take off on its own power...

ON the SEXUALITY DE SANTOS DUMONT
via email from Jos? Menezes, 3-9-05 Several controversies surrounded Santos Dumont in life and after his death. These range from who is the father of aviaition, which many in the United States attribute to the Wilbur and Orville Wright brothers, to his personal sexuality. One of his noted biographers, Lieutenant-colonel Peter Wykeham, of the British Air Force, records that he showed little interest for women during his life.
However, the controversy on this point tends to heat up toward the end of the year, when the controversial Bahian anthropologist Luiz Mott, of the Grupo Gay de Bahia, (Gay Group of the Bahia), will be releasing his book whose title is already defined: "Was Santos Dumont a Homosexual?"
The controversy on the Wright Brothers can be resolved if we accept the fact that Wilbur and Orville failed to qualify due to the fact that their aeroplane lacked sufficient power to be launched on its own and had to rely on a catapult to leave the ground. It is a matter of record that Santos Dumont, in 1903, was able to take off in his 14 Bis under its own power.

Try this one:

http://www.loc.gov/index.html

It's the library of congress.

Go to a "university library" and search...I'm sure there's one close to you. You can kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Do your research and scope out what the young college hottie potential is for next year....

Unless you're not into young college hottie chicks....

Now that I think about it, you've never posted anything about chicks have you?

And the next high point of his life was watching the Miami Dolphins achieve the perfect season.

Ags is very right. Wright Bros Memorial is here in Kitty Hawk NC. Not to mention there's some stellar sand wheeling on OBX. Give them a call and try to sweet talk to currator to see if he would give you a private tour or a more in depth look into the NPF's archives of the Wright bros.

All you Buckeyes just stay jealous:giggling: :giggling: :giggling:
