Well, I said what the hell and purchased another H1. I picked it up yesterday. It's a 99 HMC4 with 116k miles on it. It needs some cleaning on the inside, new breaks, and new tires, that?s about it. Drives and runs perfect. Now is the fun process of asking forgiveness from the wife. All I heard last night was how our driveway looks like a dealership :clapping:.

Not sure yet. I just purchased a ton of stuff for it yesterday. Steering wheel, new leather seats, tires, breaks, and such....... After I fix it up I'll have to figure out its purpose :) I just couldn't pass up the deal I got on it.

Out here in Birmingham. I guy was down on his luck and needed money pretty bad so I got an incredible deal on it. I felt bad. When we were walking out of the bank he was starting to tear up.

Nice find. Its unfortunate for that guy, but such goes life. Hopefully he will get back on his feet and get another H1 later. I feel the H1 prices are nearing their all time low. Especially 2000 and earlier. We will see. Some say they are already appreciating.

I'm out in New Orleans all week but I will post some pics when I get back. I just put on a new light bar from Travis (RubberDuck4x4) and I hope to install my stinger D-Ring on Friday. So far I love the wagon other than the damn PMD going out the other day. Oh well, cheap fix.....

Well here is a quick picture of the front. I still haven't put on my D-Ring brush Guard, winch, roof lights, and some other goodies. Hopefully one of these days I will be home to work on this truck. I have been working on the white HMC4 for the last couple of weeks when I have time. I basically gutted it and cleaned everything from top to bottom, put in a carbon fiber dash, and recovered the seats in new leather. I'll post some pics of it when I am finished.

Yes, well not really by choice. Found out the HMCO had a Canadian "Junk Title". After going back and forth with the seller for about a month we did a trade for the HMCS and I got to keep my wheels and got some cash back. He still owes me $1200 worth of parts so hopefully, for his sake, there won't be an issue. I think I was way too nice about the entire thing. I love the wagon but it has needed a lot of cleaning and minor parts.

Next time I?m heading down in that area I will let you know. Maybe we can meet up for a beer?.

Hey Rox,

Here is the latest pic. I have been traveling a lot so I haven't made too much progress. I now have all the parts in. I ended up replacing just about everything from the heads up to be safe. So far here is the list:

1. 2 X Robert Shaw 180 T-stats
2. 2 X New Heads
3. 2 X New .010 thicker head gaskets
4. 1 X Predator Mechanical Waste Gate Controller
5. 8 X Bosch Injectors
6. New Injector return lines
7. 8 X Glow Plugs
8. 1 X Fuel Injector Pump
9. 1 X AC Compressor
10. 1 X Idler arm and pulley
11. 1 X CDR valve
12. 1 X alternator
13. 1 X AC Delco Water pump
14. 3 X New Radiator Hoses
Had Radiator and Trans cooler Flushed and checked

Hopefully I can start working on it again next week. We shall see!
