Hi!

Sorry, its actually my twin brother that owns an H2 here in New
Zealand. But i was driving it
during the weekend, and had quite the encounter, and was just
wondering if you guys ever get this?

Ok, so had just finishing shopping and when i got back to the H2,
there was an American tourist looking @ it, maybe a bit older than
me, 24 or 25 etc.....anyway, so when he sees me unlock the car,
he starts going crazy, telling me i should be ashamed of myself
because trucks like this, and people like me are ruining the Earth,
and then saying how happy he had been because before this, he
had not seen a single Hummer during his trip in New Zealand. And that i
was now helping destroy my beautiful country and that i wasnt considering
what this could do to my children's future etc. And then he started yelling louder, called me a selfish human being, and then i started
to get upset, and then he called me the c word and told me i was
an " inconsiderate rich whore", and then i burst into tears.......i know
i probably overracted, but im a pretty sensitive girl as it is, without
situations like this

anyway, horrible ordeal all over now...i was wondering, i mean i know
that there is a big of a movement against SUVS, but have you guys ever had this happen? Common occurance??

one good thing about that day, was that my twin brother wasnt there. Because, i guess its just a brother thing..he's too protective sometimes.
He cant even stand it when i cry....so it was a kind of lucky day for that guy because my brother wasnt there...so this guy can return safely, no broken bones or bruises lol..back to the US.....where i hope you guys never
have to encounter him

by the way, been looking around, love this forum!

sounds like a big man taking advantage of the situation to yell at a girl...wonder if he is big enough to have the same encounter with a man...but the good news is you have acces to an H2.....

Never happens to me, but if it did i would with out a doubt fight someone. Hell if i would have seen a random man yelling at a random girl about anything i would have steped in. Its best to probably just ignore them or be nice but if they start to raise there voice you can bet i would do something about it. But then again i am young and dumb.

Should have called the police. I'm pretty sure New Zealand police would relish the chance to crack the skull of a mouthy American that's harassing one of their female citizens. It also shows what a pussy that guy is for verbally attacking a female over an automobile.

Thats him in the Yellow. The guy prolly sold the 2 and had enough profit to pay for the third. Do you see many other h2's around there?

I've never had that happen but my brother in law who drives a Ford F150 gets it all the time. I'm sorry that happened to you. I'm a girl too but I might just have clocked him up side his sorry head. I tend to lose my temper. ;) Okay okay, so I might have cried. Depends on my mood. LOL

Yes, there are a couple. We live in a small town, but lots going on here, they say we're the adventure capital of the world lol....like a mini aspen
all year around
Also, a lot of SUV fans, so there are probably more SUVS, especially
imported Americans ones, lots of Dodge Rams and Jeeps, Tahoe's, a few Blazers,( which is a nice change, coz it's kind of Land Cruiser and Range
Rover central here ) so here in Queenstown, theres probably more American rigs than in the rest ofthe country........ BUT overall i think in the whole of New Zealand, there are maybe less than 20 Hummers

No anti hummer reactions so far over here in Belgium, Europe. I only get stared at all the time (Hummers are extremely rare over here). Don't think there are more than 10 in my country.
People stop me to ask me questions, to take pics, ...

aww, sorry about the problem, people can get like that over these cars, i just complete ignore em when it happens, when i was in New Zealand i only saw 2 hummers on my whole trip, its a really beautiful country and it appears to be that they are really sensitive about the environment over there, i know i got some weird looks wearing my Hummer shirt

Not that I'm one to complain, but how is the pictured mankini helping this thread?

I was reading about a poor woman accosted my a trud in her home country. I would suggest she write a nice letter to the American consulate asking them to refuse entrance to known tree huggers as they are maring the peoples of the country with their confused tantrums.

If you read through the whole thread, bikinis are mentionned. So this sexy guy really fits in this thread :fdance:
