His mother Jenny, 61, and sister Sharon, 40, are said to have gone to a police station in Hampshire to make the claim, which was subsequently referred to the Metropolitan police.

Bale, in London to attend the European premiere of superhero blockbuster The Dark Knight last night, was apprehended at the Dorchester hotel. The Welsh actor had been staying there when the alleged incident took place.I just saw his Bio show on A&E this weekend.

Pretty private guy and appeared to have a good head on his shoulders.

Oh well.

What a little bitch...

You need some serious help if your own mother and sister need to call the cops on you :notallthere:

I don't know the story yet but in the UK it's a crime to verbally assault someone. Some places are saying he just yelled at them. I find that one hilarious. Now if he hit them, not cool at all. I can't wait to find out what really happened.

Well, here's the latest so I guess it wasn't verbal only. LOL But a push isn't a hit at least. *shrug*

Sources directly connected to the Christian Bale case tell TMZ there was physical contact between Christian and his mom, but it amounted to next to nothing.

We're told Bale pushed his mom out of the way during the altercation. She was not hurt and did not fall down. There's a division of opinion on whether the contact was a "push" or a "brush."

It seems what was hurt most during the confrontation were feelings ... nothing more than feelings.

But I'll tell you something, if I was him and my mom called the police because we were in an arguement and I brushed by, I'd cut her and the sister off. Damn, that would really piss me off if I was him.

Of course, I'd never do something like that to my mom and if he pushed his, oh well. He'll get what he deserves.

Just speculating, but it is starting to sound overblown and the mom may have over-reacted.

There?s little doubt what side the London tabloids are taking in the Christian Bale assault drama, as just about every story for the last few days has made Bale look temperamental but certainly not crazy. The Sun UK does their part today and claims the fight started when his sister asked to borrow 200,000 dollars and Christian refused. The Sun says? (http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article1463051.ece)
Legal sources said sister Sharon needed ?100,000 to help her bring up her three children.
They said Bale, 34, snubbed the plea and a row flared in his suite at the Dorchester Hotel in London?s West End.
sources said Jenny (Bales mom) inflamed the situation by hurling insults about his wife Sibi, 38.
Sharon and Jenny, a part-time clown from Bournemouth, left the hotel on Monday morning and, on the way to their Dorset home, stopped at a Hampshire police station and reported Bale for assault.
He was arrested when he attended Belgravia police station, Central London, on Tuesday.
Sharon, who works in computer programming, has two daughters ? aged ten and 12 ? from a previous marriage and a baby from a new relationship.
