I saw a video on the news about a year or so ago where a cop was run over by his own patrol car. I can't find a clip of it though.

That statement alone should discredit the officer, at least regarding the alleged traffic infraction, anyway.

How he returned to what he was doing as if nothing happened or no one noticed, took something... He should've turned on the lights and siren and pretended there was another call and got out of there!
