Hello members,

As many of you know i was trying to trade my 2007 corvette for a H2.

I have a local dealer who will take my 07 on trade for a 07 H2 with 25KM on it...but would like 2500 bucks on top..he says because of the time of year my vette will sit on there lot for at leaset 3 months before it sees any action.

The H2 is stock...heres the link to the truck.

I havent driven my vette in over a month cause of the weather.

They wont budge...they came to me with a 5K offer plus my car i say no way ,...then down to 4.3 and now finally 2500 plus tax...the H2 is a year round truck...the Vette can only be driven 6 months hard out of the year..they both have the WOW factor in my eyes.

i just picked up a 2004 h2 with 50k miles and a 15k custom sound system for 20k out the door and it runs perfect.

so my advce just keep looking theres deals out there.

I agree.

I've been checking so I could buy another and a 2005 SUT on ebay with 20K miles sold for 18000 bucks.

There are a lot of great deals out there. I don't know how much your vette is worth but I think you're paying too much for the H2.

Mark,

Keep in mind this is in Canadian dollars...a 2008 or 2009 new H2 cost 65K plus taxes...going close to 75K after all said and done

I get what you are saying about the exchange rate but he is still wanting an extra $2500 on top of your trade in.

I love our HUMMER and would not get anything else (but another one)
but the resell value on the Vette should be higher and should hold more steady than on a HUMMER.

Here in FLA there are plenty of low mile 07 for $32,000 US$ and under.

Manny

Manny,

I completely understand. However, it doesn't change the fact that they are asking 2500 more dollars.

Like I said, I think you can do better.

I wish you the best of luck.

You should be able to trade straight up for that truck, I would not give them the $2500 on top of your car.... be patient and keep looking:beerchug:
