I've been looking at getting a roof rack awning. Looked at ARB, camping lab, slee and the main one I'm thinking about is the fiamma F-35. Anybody used one of them or another brand?

I too have been recently looking into these. I am have leaning towards the camping lab, but not sure yet.

...I forgot to add, that many of the awkings out there are for shade only. They don;t allow for those rainy days. My reasoning for getting one was for those camping weekends and events that you are hanging out by the truck. I also wanted an awning that was rectractable, waterproof, and can be bolted onto my roof rack or locked on somehow.

I had a hard time with finding a Fiamma awning, a dealer or any help from the company. It's a shame, it looks well built. I emailed and talked with Fernando Lander at camping lab and he is sending me the 79 inch model, should have it next week some time. This was my second choice only due to fiamma's come in an enclosed hard case vs. soft case. I also would rather buy from a company that I can get a hold of if I have questions or need parts/service.
