That guy has a ton of repeat stuff that is cheap like every couple weeks.

I've looked at that bumper winch combo in the past and couldn't find anything on the quality of it.

I have it. I really is a great product. Personally I like it better than the Warn as it really has very little affect on the approach angle UNLIKE the Warn. I did a full write up on it. I will get it and post it over here.

Tomp,

STOP THAT ****.... I checked out what you were buying and decided to buy one too.... (except I just (two seconds ago) bought the warn)

I had a warn on my other H2 and liked it. I don't do enough hard core 4 wheeling to worry about approach angles... I just like having a winch and I like the look of the warn better.

My wife is going to be pissed. Got a deal at 1300 bucks and she said "you only used your other fukin winch a few times..."

Yeah, I know....

Actually Mark, the Warn setup is very nice and i like it better too. I wish I could afford the Warn combo. I am having to sell my current cradle winch just to be able to buy this one.

My first choice would have been drtyfn's setup but unfortunately, it was more than I wanted to spend for the amount of off roading I do.

The pics of Hummin's front bumper look a little smoother than when I saw the same bumper on ebay.

I just really liked the looks of warns and the few times I did use it, it worked perfectly for me... I even used it to drag a pool across a yard...lol.

Rene

Rene,

If it helps, I'd be willing to ship it to you. You could buy it from him, send it to me and I could ship it to you.

Of course, all of this on your dime... no profit for me, just cover whatever it costs.

HTH's,

Mark

I have the Warn on my 05 and the Boulder unit on my 06 and they are both well built units. I am sure there are better custom units out there but now that Boulder is blowing out everything for no reserve auctions you can't beat the prices. The bumpers seem to be going for 600-800 including shipping, I paid just under 750 shipped. I saw one go last week for 460 plus shipping. Even the winch accesory kits they are selling are cheap at under 100 bucks shipped. The SE series MM winches are actually not to bad when compared to the cheap PE series they make. I think the kit is well engineered and instalation was straight forward in a couple hours with many breaks for beverages.

You unbolt the front reciever and the mounting plate bolts directly to the frame. Its pretty stout.

DRTYFN I think I have seein yours and its bad ass! Do you have any pix of the fabrication you did?

Yes, it includes the winch. I received an email from them the other day and they still have lots of them left, but since I missed out on the last auction - please let's not bid against each other (I'm trying to win this one). Thanks Bro

That's pretty nice. Are they new? Not a bad deal for the "buy it now" price of 965.

tomp

It seems to be a good deal. They will not fit on 08 or later H2s as the frame rails were widened.

So much. But you really need to know how MM works to truly understand.

No worries about the winch you will be fine. Its a nice set up.

I have not had a chance to install the winch bumper yet, but will say that the MM winch is not even half of the quality of a Warn. Every single piece on a Warn winch is better than on these MM winches I received.

I was real interested in that winch/bumper combo ... Anyone actually has hands on experience with this product ??? I have bought 2 items from the seller and they've been working great. But, I'm affaird to commit to something that expensive to find out it just will break down the road.

On the other hand anyone has hands on experience with T-Max hows that brand compared to WARN ???

I dont actually have a tmax winch but i went off roading with someone that did. We used it a couple of times and it is one tough winch. I asked him how he liked it and he said it was a great winch. He had a craddle set up with a wireless remote. was a really nice setup. Looked heavy duty.

I installed the boulder bumper and mm winch, Saturday. I have pulled my golf cart out of the sand box in back yard 3 times. So far it pulled ok. It is very difficult to free spool. Called the manufactorer they said new seals make it real tight and it will loosen up with use. It takes all my strength and weight to free spool now.

So are you disappointed with the kit?

Would you recommend it to anyone?

No, it is okay. I prefer a better quality winch like a Warn because when you are stuck out in the middle of no where - the last thing you need is a winch problem. This will be my first time owning a Mile Marker winch so it's a new experience for me. The way I look at it, I got such a good deal on price that I paid regular price for the bumper and the winch was free.

I hope nothing happens to you but if you should find yourself in the middle of a forest stuck in the mud and the winch doesn't work.... remember your quote.
